Doc Hurley 110 Bruce Montey All-Stars 100 Rematch of last years championship game.

Right off the bat Doc Hurley had a clear size advantage. Roscoe Smith and Tyler Olander representing the National Champions (Shabazz and Oriakhi are at the Lebron Skills camp, and Jeremy Lamb is with the USA U19) None the less their team boast Ryan Olander 6’11(Fairfield), Mike Evanovich 6’9”(Formely of Fairfield) and some dude who looked like Dirk Nowitzki at 6’9”-6’10”respectivley.(Formely of Fairfield) 

First Half–close game I think we were down maybe 10 at the half but definatly were going neck and neck throughout. Foul trouble plagued our team, not to mention chemistry and a bunch of dudes crying on the bench about playing time. Doc Hurley’s guards consisted of Jerome Dyson, Dougy Wiggins, (Uconn, Umass, East Hartford) and Derek Needham(Fairfield). The rumors of aj price and danny granger showing wasnt true. Also the rumors of KG and Ray allen playing for them wasnt true, but who knows with the NBA lock out they could still show up at any time. The standout for Doc Hurley was Tyler Olander in the first half who look much bigger than his freshman year, he has been hitting the weights hard and was solid in the post, he even looked taller.

Second Half- The BMAllstars made a comeback and brought the game too two points but again with foul trouble and the size advantage and a few turnovers the game was over with about 2 minutes left.

My stat line for my debut at the CT Pro am. 6 mins 0 pts, 2 blocks, 0 to, 0 assists 1 rebound (offensive). First time playing I didnt expect to play that much but I worked hard and filled my role as a rebounding, defensive big. In case you were there I was rocking the blue number 45 setting up camp on the bench. I expect more playing time as the season continues and the team chemistry develops. Next game Monday at 8:15.

I watched the game before hand. Only people I actually knew where roosevelt lee playing for cambyland, and Steve Glowiak (Sacred Heart/New Britian) His brother Brian and I graduated high school the same year. Can’t remember what his teams name was but they won a close game.

 I was there dude….no drummond…so disapointed……dude…that guy totally looked like dirk…it was crazy…me and my boys were rollin…best player there I thought was Jerome Dyson…he looked pretty good….plass from the pass that was there also was TYSON WHEELER who was on Rhode Island back in the day with Lamaar Odom…Wasnt to impressed with roscoe smith….that big white dude on the red team was solid tho….which guy were you.???

Jerome Dyson will always be Jerome Dyson. He will get his. Tyson wheeler 35 years old and can still play like that im 10 years away from that and can only hope. Roscoe didnt look like he changed at all, Tyler Olander was more impressive he’s gotten alot bigger and could finally contribute to a squad A.K. I heard drummond is at the same camp as oriakhi and shabazz, they all should be making an appearence tonite. Vin Baker didnt show up for our squad. Thats how this league is or so im told.  its wierd…I remembered we talked last night and you said you were a PF and white….so….Im sitting in the stands lookin for a tall white dude….and I shit u not…when I saw a tall white dude wearing those green shoes…I thought to myself…"that might be doublenicks"…LOL….I swear….I had to leave b4 the game ended, or I woulda went up to u and been like.."r u double nickles"…LOL….I woulda felt like a shmuck if it wasnt u…LOL….next game Ill introduce myself since I know u r #45 now…I thought u def held your own….not as athletic as sum of the people on the court….then again, there was some good competition….u def can hold your head high tho….way to represent for NBAdraft.net….Tyler Olander was that big white guy???…dude looked good…hes a freshman???

damn! haven’t heard anyone else mention tyson wheelers name in a long-ass time. i aactually jokingly called my buddy tyson wheeler yesterday in a text and he goes "thats a sick name, did you make it up?" i told him i hadn’t but the name stuck with me.

I thought RI’s names were all cool from that team: Lamar Odom, Preston Murphy, Antonio Reynolds-Dean, Cuttino Mobley, and Tyson Wheeler

Yeah Olander is going to be a sophmore at Uconn. he had the mop top and was running like he was swimming haha. He looked good and ive seen him since he was in 8th grade. His brother was there 6’11” he is a senior at fairfield university, big man who gets the job done. But yeah, I will be there again on monday hopefully get more burn.

Tyson Wheeler shoulda gotten a look, he is pretty short thats prob the only knock on him. who knows, there are alot of players out there that shoulda been in the league but never were. But its good to see him keep playing. More to come, stay tuned.

And Paradigmn def introduce yourself, i will be rocking the black and green kg’s all season, only shoes that are comfortable and broken in.
