Everyone who would like their mock critiqued with CONSTRUCTIVE criticism feel free to post on this thread. I & hopefully others who have time & don’t mine will give you their thoughts as well.

I’m not here to bash, but I will be honest, because I like helping those out who are seeking.

You can look mine over but remember is a very early, and will most likely change the closer it comes to the draft.I also made comments you can look them over and tell me what you think.

    • Cleveland- I believe they put their future plans in Sessions once Baron goes. If they do take a PG it would be with the second pick because there is greater value with other players @ #1 such as Harrison Barnes & Derrick Williams
    • Toronto-If they take Kemba since Kanter will be gone do they trade Calderon & for what or who???? I think if Kanter goes Valanciunas would be a better pick to fill the need in the front court & I’m not saying this just because he is a foreigner. He has legitimate size they lack.
    • Brandon Knight is way too low he will go ahead of Burks
    • Markieff is bigger, but Marcus will go before him
    • Nolan would not have a chance at OKC……Westbrook, Maynor, Harden, Sefolosha, Cook.
    • Pullen too low will go much higher, dude is a baller.
    • Mack way too low he will go much higher also.

My mock is always open for comments and feedback. I change it often especially now since we are getting closer and closer to the playoffs. Just click on the link on the left and I’ll respond to any feedback.

I will do comments but not until it gets closer to the end of June so that way I don’t have to change my comments every time I change my mock.

Even though they are the best values I can’t see the Wizards taking 2 bigs in the first round. There would be too much of a log ham as the Wizards are high on Trevor Booker and Kevin Seraphin 2 rookies as backups, adn Rashard Lewis also plays a lot of PF for Flip Saunders. Definitely one big but I can’t see two especially considering the Wizards will have zero SF’s on their roster going into the summer. Also Malcolm Lee doesn’t make much sense as they already have that combo guard in Jordan Crawford. The first pick of Sullinger is fine although IMO they would go with Derrick Williams, but at 19 they would probably go with Jordan Hamilton or Tobias Harris, then at 33 I can’t see them passing up local boy Jordan Williams. Justin Harper would also makes sense.

    • Minny won’t pass on Kyrie. Kahn finally gives up on Rubio
    • Would think Kemba goes before Burks but nice projection for both
    • Tobias Harris too high
    • Tristian Thompson will go a little higher…..same mistake in my mock
    • Parsons too low.
    • EXCELLENT Lotto EXCELLENT Mock overall

Hey thanks, I will look it over and try improving it more. I think your right about Knight going ahead of Burks. The reason I put Markieff ahead of Marcus is because I read a scouting report where the scout thought he had more upside.I know that Nolan wouldn’t start on OKC but I thought he would make a great sixth man. The second round I mostly just copied this site. I wasn’t really saying Cleveland should get kyrie the reason I put him number one is we don’t know the draft order yet and I think most teams would take him number one. When we know the order i’m going to personalize more.

I’ve would gladly put Irving to the Wolves but I’ve heard that Rubio is coming over next year and that the Wolves are going to avoid picking Irving like the plague. I’ve instead heard that they would like to select Perry with their pick. I would not advise doing that but this is Kahn we are talking about so what do you expect?

I will change the Irving and Burks picks in a matter of minutes so that change will so be reflected.

As for the other suggestions, I’ll see what I can do.

nah I have to edit my mock. I guess whenever the order was changed my mock is now off with what I had. Like I had Derrick Williams to the Wizards and so forth but I guess when the order was changed on the site the players stayed in the same slots.

Better mock but I see 1 of 2 things with Sacramento. Either they go SF or PG to move Evans to the 2. They took both Cousins & Whiteside last year & still have Dalembert. Sacramento are set with bigs, I believe they fill another need.

Just changed mine, so take a look at it, and actually just look at it periodically not just once. Like I said I make changes often and am open to any feedback, anytime, anyplace.

    As for your mock Thunderbear82:

    • Perry is not a Jazz type of player. (I don’t know why people think he is) If you are looking for a better AK replacement go with Jan Vesely. But I think the Jazz will once again pick a player higher than he should go (like they did this year with Gordon Hayward) because they might need a player really badly and he might go before the 12th pick.
    •  I really think that the Bucks will select Montie because they think he would be a great combo with Bogut. Remember they did select Yi to fill the same role but that didn’t work they might try again with Montie.
    • I don’t think the Rockets would select another PF, they just drafted one last year (Patrick Patterson) why would they select another one when they already have 2 others (Hill and Scola) If Jonas does not fall to 14 expect the Rockets to go for a SF to backup Budinger and play the same role that Battier provided before he was traded.
    • Faried is too high. I think the Pacers like Hansbrough, and they want to continue developing him and intend to start him full time next year. (I think he already is starting)
    • Hamilton is too low. He will be a lottery pick, alot of scouts like him especially the ones with lottery picks.
    • Tyler is a little high. I think Jeremy Tyler will play Center for his first few years in the league not PF. And Tyler is not a very good replacement for West. (If that’s what you are thinking of) Trey Thompkins is a much better replacement.
    • Honeycutt is a little low. I think he will go the Sixers unless a bigman is available.
    • Nolan Smith wouldn’t really fit with the Thunder. He would be a better fit with Portland if they decide to trade Andre Miller around draft time. The Thunder already have a 6th man in Harden. The Thunder still need a backup to Durant and they might fill that need with this pick.
    • I heard Buford decided to stay along with Sullinger.
    • Leuer is a little high in my opinion. I think he will go early second round. Same with Jajuan Johnson. I think his tourney performance will greatly affect his stock. I thought he would do better but I guess that FSU defense was just too tough.

This is only the first round, but I think this will greatly help.

     1. Okay

    2. No, Khan is obsessed with Rubio

    3. Yes but hes not even coming out

    4. Yes

    5. Sure

    6. Sure

    7. No, they dont need another combo guard, they need another big or a real PG or a SF

    8. Meh, I dont think he drops that far

    9. Love it

    10. Hmmm, they need SF’s and biugs much more then PG’s

    11. HELL NAW. We need defense and rebounding and inside  players. Not Bargs 2.0 . Terrible (And that isnt my W’s super bias on that pick…)

    12. Love it

    13. Solid

    14. I think they go big here with Yao ‘s future so in question and they have Lowry and Dragic

@Nateoak, who’s mock are you commenting on? Mine, memphistyga’s or thunderbear’s? You need to let us know otherwise your post will be very confusing and probably disregarded.

@memphistyga, I changed my mock just before this site changed the order and at the time I had Kanter going 5th to the Raptors and Irving going 4th to the Kings. So when the order got changed earlier today my picks did not reflect that. But I just changed that in my mock, so no I do not think the Kings will select Kanter. I also changed the Bobcats pick because they need someone to replace Wallace, and  Vesely would be a very good replacement for him. I just switched the Burks and Vesely picks as well as the Kanter and Irving picks. The rest is still the same.

     Comments on Joecheck88 mock:

    • I think because of Knight being taller then Kemba is, and the fact that I think he is better then he will go higher then Kemba does. The Jazz really need a PG like him, they might pick him a little early with their 6th pick. Kemba might only measure in at 5’11! I don’t think he would go higher than Knight if that is the case.
    • Perry is not droping that low because of his "potential" scouts like that thing a lot and so some scout in the top 5 will take a chance on him. (I’m thinking Minny)
    • Jan will make the lottery guaranteed. Their’s a reason why this site ranks him so high and so will Montie. Remember the Bucks did select Yi back in 2007 to try and pair him up with Bogut. That unfortunately but they might try that again this year with Montie. I expect Jan to either go to the Raptors or Bobcats. The bobcats might select him to replace the departed Gerald Wallace.
    • I don’t think Henson will be in the lottery but I do think he will go in the mid first round.
    • The Rockets: If Jonas does not fall to them they will address their need for a 3. They might select Leonard to fill Battier’s role or possibly start him and once again have Budinger come off the bench. I don’t think they would take another PF when they already have 3 (Scola, Patterson, and Hill) They really do not need a 4th.
    • Terrance Jones is a little high in my opinion. Yes he would be a good pick by the Jazz but I think the Jazz will not pass up on Knight with their sixth pick because he has a better chance of being selected before their 12th pick. T. Jones on the other hand can wait a little bit and the Jazz still might be able to land him with their 12 pick.

That’s about all I saw in the lottery.
