I thought I’d get one more round of feedback about my draft before draft night. My second round is as volitile as ever and some help back there is always appreiciated. Late lottery is another area I’m unsure of.

I have the 76ers taking Vonleh at 3. I don’t have them taking Exum as I don’t believe he and believe MCW can coexist as they are fundementaly similar players. Trading the proven MCW for an unproven Exum would be a too large a gamble (even though I think Exum will succeed in the league Hinkie shouldn’t take the risk). They also pass on Embiid due to him being in a similar situation to Noel last year.

On the topic of Embiid I have him dropping to Celtics. I believe the Cavs and Bucks don’t take the risk with guys like Wiggins and Parker avalible. The Magic have Vucevic and Exum is avalible to be their PG of the future. The Jazz don’t need another centre with Kanter, Gobert on the roster and Favors playing more at centre near the end of the season (I have them taking Randle as I believe they’ll get a PF to compliment whoever starts at centre and he was reported to have had a good workout in Utah). The Celtics can afford to take the gamble as they’re currently trying to wheel and deal for stars and aren’t particularly looking to retool through the draft this year.

Jazz will take Embiid if he falls his value is too high to pass up. Even if they don’t want him he would still be a valuable trade asset.

As a Celtic fan I would love to take chance on Embiid. Not a fan of Saric. Don’t like soft Europeans. I do think your overall draft has done a good job of putting players near where they will be drafted though. This draft is even harder to predict than ever.

Nothing wrong with the first two picks.  Everyone will have them.  Pick 3 is huge, Vonleh probably wouldn’t be what 76ers fans want.  Then they get Harris.  The players do fit needs for positions, but nore sure they are right for the 76ers when Randle might be better with Noel and someone taller than Harris could give the 76ers a big backcourt with MCW at point guard.

The Celtics would be happy with that draft.  Both picks could be steals.

Miami add real center size, they need that.  Toronto get the local for a position they may have a big need for, that has to be a good guess.

Your reasons for the Embiid slide are correct for the first two picks.  The 76ers’ reason, they already have one injured tall, not sure about that as Noel and Embiid could become a devastating duo.

Tavares to Washington seems like something that could happen, as they may want height with Gortat a free agent.

Jordan Adams to the Thunder does look very possible, which would give them the "Adams Family".
