I have updated my mock draft.  Feel free to critique it.  I have not updated my comments, so my comments probably make no sense now.

Two question marks I have is the LA Lakers pick: Do they go with length and all-around skills in Noah Vonleh or a freakish, exciting athlete like Aaron Gordon?  I think Gordon could run with Nash, and be a complement for Pau Gasol if he resigns there.

Then the Hornets at 9: I think it is between James Young, Stauskas, and LaVine.

Not extremely confident about the second round, but I think the Bucks pick at 32 makes some sense.

If this draft was fixed, it was the most screwed up fixed draft in years.  Cavs get lucky AGAIN.  The Bucks sit with the second pick, and Philly falls to 3 but also has a pick at 10.  Some really bad Eastern Conference teams should improve.  … the big boys like the Lakers and Celtics fail to move up, and the Pistons shockingly lose their pick.

Should be a really interesting draft night.

Another thing: If the Cavs are torn at 1, why not see if Philly would give them their picks at 3, 10, and 32 for the top pick?

Next year’s conspiracy theory top 3: Lakers, Celtics, Pistons.

I really don’t see Gordon going before Vonleh, especially to the Lakers.

I like how high you have James Young, weather he deserves it or not I think he’s going to rise ahead of Gordon in the end.

Patrick Young is one of my favorite players but hard to see him going higher than 45 IMO.

I could see Pat Young as Larry Sanders insurance basically.  With Greek Freak and Wiggins, the Bucks are going after length, athleticism, and defense.  So, Patric Young could fit.  I have McGary and Austin going in the first round, so there aren’t many bigs left.  And, I am not sure if any of these second rounders are better than OJ Mayo, Knight, and Wolters.  … if the Bucks want another freak athlete then they could look at Markel Brown, a smaller guy but he can play the 2.  … at 36, I have Nick Johnson going to Milwaukee too, as another combo guard who can handle the ball.  Yeah, probably a bigger shooter would be a better fit there, or use their picks at 31 and 36 to trade down.  What about 31, 36, and 48 to Philly for 32, 39, 47, 52, and 54?  This would be good for the Bucks if they want to stash some guys overseas.

I like Mitch McGary to the Clippers as their third big man.  Solid all-around talent who could play with either Blake or DeAndre.  McGary is almost like a less athletic, ok, FAR LESS ATHLETIC, Blake Griffin with DeAndre Jordan’s touch from the foul line.  Even so, the Clippers are in dire need of a third big man.  … he is also a guy who might be able to out-goon Steven Adams.

I like DeAndre Daniels to the Heat.  Shane Battier is supposedly going to retire after this year.  Haslem is getting old fast, so they could use some help at that stretch four spot/forward depth.  Beasley isn’t cutting it either.  Daniels has a solid skill set for them with 3 point shooting, shot blocking, solid rebounding, and Kawhi Leonard’s measurements.  They can put Daniels on the frontline with LeBron and Bosh or bring him off the bench as a Robert Horry type.

Jarnell Stokes is one of my favorite guys in the draft.  The Thunder could use a fourth option and a low post scorer.  Stokes can do both.  With Efrid Payton giving the Thunder a bigger lead guard, they could roll out a Payton, Westbrook, Durant, Stokes, and Ibaka five man unit.  To me, I don’t see the big difference between guys like Randle, Vonleh, and Gordon, and then Jarnell Stokes who is currently pegged as a second round pick.

There are a bunch of Euro guys that I don’t know much about so the could mess up my second round.

Aaron Craft and Will Sheehey probably won’t get drafted, but Craft would be a good backup for the Pacers.  Sheehey could be a Manu type player in the Spurs’ system.

The past few years international guys have been getting picked a lot in the 2nd round, especially after 50. I noticed you only have 3 in the 2nd round…I’d bet there’s between 6-8 taken between 31-60

I like your top ten a lot. Maybe because it’s incredibly similar to mine, but there are a few changes to consider.

I agree with Clibert when it comes to Vonleh > Gordon.

I also think that the Magic are more likely to take Exum due to his higher potenial and the questioning on whether Smart can be a full time PG.

Finally, I don’t see McGary cracking the first round, he’s too raw, there are better options and he’s been injured for the entirerity of last season. Not good traits for your only first round pick.

    Hope this helped.

Memphis I like smart at 4

Orlando wanted him last year and would have selected him over victor all you have to do is google "marcus smart victor oladipo  magic" and see how many pages pop up about it .

So basically they can get who they wanted last year I think that’s the move

I’d very much like to see Exum with the Jazz.

Not a bad mock. A lot different from mine in the sense that I have the Cavs and Bucks going Wiggins & Parker respectively. Not that I don’t like Embiid #1 or #2, but when you have a chance to get a sureshot wing player, get him lol! I think Embiid goes #3 to Philly who’d have a nice starting frontcourt w/ him and Noel. Then, to address the backcourt, I think PHI would go Stauskas at #10. I think from the end of the lottery to #25 or so, it’s really a toss up. Last but not least, I think your 26-30 picks are more so early second round choices, although McGary has the potential to get snagged late first.
