Creating NBA sports photo slideshow

I want to make a photo slideshow with NBA famous men and burn the slideshow to dvd.But I do not what software I should use.

Any recommendation will be appreciated.

just photo slideshow? nothing

just photo slideshow? nothing fansy?

try Windows movie maker, if more Fancy, then try Adobe premiere cs 5, the latest of course, though it would take about a week to practise, plus learn how to use Maya, will give much amazing effects,

btw Maya+AP cs5 is a good combo

It can create photo slideshow with music, transition effect, text.so the photos will play like a movie.then you can upload the the video slidehsow to website, such as facebook, youtube.also you can burn the slidehsow to DVD.

It can burn videos to dvd too.
