NYCrealdealParticipantgreat trade for ny but whats the deal with powes knees i would love to see knicks get him and boobie would be a nice backup pg playing couple minutes behind felton if powe is healthy he is exactly what the knicks need to compete in the playoffs but idk if they do it because turiaf is key for the knicks D keeping him would be ideal whats the situation with redd i havnt seen him play in so long is he stil injured
with the other trade how f’in awseome would it be seeing nash dish it to dwight
jrich would make cp3 even more happy and a linup with
cp3 jrich ariza west meka would be sick
the only problem is i think philly can get better deals for iggy
great trades tho

Meditated StatesParticipantBut New Orleans will have nothing inside without Okafor. The trade would not help them.

elevation1013ParticipantWhat is everybody else seeing here that I’m missing? Orlando gets two time mvp and top 5 pg in the league Steve Nash for Gortat and Pietrus???? Just because there is "speculation" that Nash is getting traded even though it’s been denied by coach, gm and Nash himself you think they’ll give him and a $14mil expiring contract up for Iguodala and his 4 year contract along with a couple backups? First of all Nash isn’t getting traded, the Suns would fall apart without him. Also New Orleans won’t give up Okafor for a 1 year rent-a-player like J-Rich, that’s ridiculous if you look at it long term. This trade just seems like an Orlando fan’s wet dream to see the most unstoppable pick and roll combo since the 90’s Jazz.

BubblebuttParticipantGood work on the four team trade but who’s supposed to play center for New Orleans Jason Smith. Holy Shit. If you want an awesome shooting guard to play on New Orleans just trade Thortan for Paul George from the Indiana Pacers then Thortan is reunited with Collison and George could be the starter for the next decade.

Mr. 19134ParticipantI always thought New Orleans should of kept JR. Smith. I thought he was the perfect 2 guard to play alongside Paul because he can shoot 3’s and catch alley oops. Just like Jason Richardson now that I think about it.
And N.O. would never do this trade because Okafor is a huge reason for their success this year and is an underrated low post defender. One of the best in the league. I thought the Bobcats giving him away was retarded. And even more retarded is the Sixers had a chance to get him last year for Iggy but declined. The Sixers are so dumb. They treat Iggy like he is Kobe when he is closer to Odom.

SwatLakeCityParticipantNot a bad trade. Only thing that needs to be fixed is for Phoenix to get a lottery pick to find their future pg (Probably Irving or Knight) or get a pg in a trade. And then Nohla also needs to get a center in this deal or a lottery pick so they can land Kanter or Valanciunas. But I would prefer Kanter.

PlatypusParticipantIf that happens who is the starting center for Nohla? Jason Smith no they wouldnt do that

Mr. 19134ParticipantJason Smith isn’t a bad player but he is by no means a starter on a top tier team but then again neither is Joel Anthony on 6’6 Dejuan Blair.
