^LOL. You’re just cool with me GAYhawk. haha

But yeah, Stokes is a shooter with a lack of handle and quickness. He’s fundamentally sound on D too. He’s a longshot for the NBA and he won’t be drafted, but he could get a shot. I doubt it though.

He dominated when I saw him play in high school. He doesn’t have great handles but I think he’ll be drafted. Won’t ever be more than a role player at best.

Yea he’s a solid college player. Came in highly touted and struggle a bit as a freshman, but then again he was a freshman. However, he’s one of the most deadly shooters we have in the big east. One of those guys when he gets the ball, the assistant coaches on the bench screams “shooter, shooter”. Has improved his ball handling over his three years to be able to make basic drives to the hoop and pull up jumpers to become a lil more of a threat at the college level. Shows a good understanding of spacing and where to be on the court and plays well off the ball, using screens to get himself open. Plays hard on D and gives it all he has in Villanova’s pressure and trapping defensive schemes.
In all, I doubt he’s more than a latter half of the second round pick. He’ll have his shot to make the league though, as guys who can knock down shots are always valuable. I just don’t think he has what it takes to make the league, initially. He’s an average big east athlete, which makes him below average for the league. But he’ll definitely get paid professionally overseas and maybe a couple years later, find a spot after some seasoning and overall improvement in his game takes place. There’s nothing wrong with that however, he plays 4 years of college ball at a great, winning program, and at the same time gets his degree, and has an opportunity to make money from basketball. I wish I had that! But yea he should up his average to around 15, 16 ppg this upcoming year as a senior as Villanova contends for the Big East title.
