    Corey Fisher

    6’1″ 185 G

The Good: Ultra-aggressive, fearless attacker of the rim. Does not back down from shot blockers. Breaks down opponents off the dribble with ease. Extremely quick first step and difficult to keep out of the paint. Very strong college guard capable of finishing around the basket through contact. Good range on three point shot.

The Bad: Aggressive to a fault. Opposition knows he wants to attack the rim, often waiting for him to barrel in and charge. Must add the pull-up jumper to his repoitre . Plays too fast, bordering on out of control. Very prone to over penetration. Needs to slow the game down on offense. Probably not a true point guard as he has a score first mentality. Steal happy in man to man defense.

Low Down: Only a sophomore, Fisher has plenty of room for growth. At 6’1″ doesn’t have the size to play the two at the next level, but is blocked at the point by Scottie Reynolds. With his natural ability off the bounce should look more to setup teammates (only avg. 2.7 assists per game). Can become a dynamic scorer with the incorporation of a midrange game.

    Comp: Will Bynum
