valentineSixers – Heat – Knicks – (Brooklyn v Orlando).
Sixers and Heat play each other tonight. BOTH teams need to lose.
Sixers – losing will help them have a better shot at the Number 1 pick, If the Knicks manage beat the Pistons. If Knicks beat the Pistons tonight, the Sixers and Knicks share the second worst record.
Sixers – losing implies Heat Win. If HEAT WIN, AND the Nets Lose, coin flip for the 10th spot in the lottery, meaning if the Heat are the 11th seed by the coin flip, The Sixers get the 11th pick.
If Brooklyn beats Orlando, Miami secures the 10th spot (unless 11 – 13 jumps into the top 3 during the lottery and knocks Miami down to the 11th).
If Miami loses tonight, and Brooklyn wins, Miami’s chances of retaining the 10th pick goes from 90% to 46%. (coin flip plus being passed in the lottery).
A lot at stake. Crazy how it all comes down to one night.
