With the nonconference schedule almost over, and getting a chance to see most of these teams play and get a feel for them, I was wondering your thoughts on these questions…

#1 Seeds- Duke, Kansas, Ohio State, G’Town

Overrated Team- Memphis

Sleeper Team- Missouri

Cinderella Team- Iona Gaels

Disappointment Team- Kansas State

Disappointment Player- Jacob Pullen

1st Team AA- Kemba, Fredette, Marcus Morris, Dunn, Singler

Player of the Year- Kemba Walker

Freshman of the Year- J. Sullinger

Sleeper Prospects- John Shurna (NW), Michael Glover (Iona)

Champs- Duke

Sleeper Team..Memphis..No team has had as many Defections as Memphis has dealt with,so early in the season….They have a fascinating collection of young talented, cocky and inexperienced players ..That might be afraid of the spotlight or embrace it and surprise some people…

And whats wrong with Michigan State? Their inside players have been invisible..But i expect them to be in the mix come tourney time….

I’d replace Dunn with Nolan Smith. People tend to forget about him, he’s balling for the number 1 team in the land.

UNC and Florida have been more of a disappointment than K-State IMO. Michigan State has been as well.

I’d also replace Singler with Nolan Smith/Derrick Williams. Williams is the 2nd best player in the nation from what I’ve seen to start the year.

I am thinking that by the end of year, Singler will be there.

I should have said predictions….not just as of right now.

And K-State is a major disappoinment. At least Michigan State has lost to top 10 teams. The Wildcats have looked bad lately. UNC was just overrated by the media.

 I thought KSU was overrated too to start the year.  I wasn’t sold on them losing Clemente and Sutton, while banking on Judge to improve and a juco player in Aspirilla to hold down the middle and actually being ranked higher than they were last year when they were an extremely good team.

Duke vs. Ohio State would be a pretty good match-up…  Being a Duke fan, I’d love to see that game.  Sullinger would skeet all over us, and I’m not sure how we can prepare for the tourney with such a weak conference schedule, but I guess we’ll have to see.
