PyronParticipanthey guys i’m in toronto and we don’t get any collage bball televised here (until some march madness games).
i’ve never really been into it because there’s no exposure here but i’m thinking its never too late to start.
is there anywhere you guys can recommend where i can check out the games?

samosasParticipantcheck out espn3.com, you can stream some games from there. next month march madness starts and it’s the most exciting spectacle in all of sports and should be on cbs.com. just google stream march madness and you’ll be ready to rock.

mikeyvthedonParticipantKnow that ESPN3 is making life amazing for sports fans all over the United States, maybe other places as well, am not sure. Just also know that if you are in Toronto or anywhere else in Canada, you can’t get it. Some content is unavailable outside of the US, for Canada in particular we can’t get ESPN3 and Hulu, among a few others. So, highly recommended option for anyone with solid internet access in the States, only not so much for Toronto or anywhere else in Canada (unless you are a super hacker, which I am definitely not, lol).

joshinator1Participantif that doesn’t work try also these sites when you want to watch a game, most of the sites work, I checked:
sportlemon.tv
thefirstrow.eu
frombar.tv
channelsurfing.ws
justin.tv0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/07/2013 - 7:33am #745254
mikeyvthedonParticipantHave gotten it past two years, actually does show college games. If not, just hope they show them on TSN (once every blue moon), the Score, Peachtree TV (it is 47, I believe, they show SEC games every now and than) or wait for CBS games on Saturday (like I did when I was a kid, lol). Otherwise, those sites mentioned above are good ways to possibly stream ESPN channels.
I know it can be expensive to pay for Rogers stuff, guess am lucky enough to be able to do so. Also, I love sports and when you get the sports package it also comes with NBA League Pass. Being able to watch pretty much any game you want is sweet. Now, as far as HS games go, that usually will require definite streaming. Seen a few on CBS Sports channel, but the ESPN ones tend to not be broadcast.

mikeyvthedonParticipantMaybe certain sports bars may show them? Real Sports is that huge one next to the ACC (Air Canada Centre, yes spelled -re, for those out of Canada folks) that I believe would show the games on one of their many TV screens upon request. Otherwise, have been able to watch from the joy of my own domicile and have yet to find a place that is college hoops friendly. Guessing their is indeed a bunch of people into it, just have not found too many that share my love of college hoops. More so when I kick it back to Portland, where people actually will go to bars to watch things besides hockey and pro hoops.

PyronParticipantawesome thanks for your input guys.. and i can make a website think i’m viewing their site from the states so i’ll definitely check the links stated above.
which teams do you guys think i should follow? i only know duke and north carolina haha… i’m such a collage ball noob

Leonard WashingtonParticipantI’m a die hard North Carolina fan, but I watch as much college games as I can. Some good schools to watch to me are Kentucky, Syracuse, Gonzaga, Michigan, Indiana (Oladipo always has some serious highlights), and even Duke( you got to respect the atmosphere of Cameron Indoor).
March Madness should be awesome this year with no clear cut favorite. Just hope my Tar Heels can be respectable enough to make the tourney, and then land Wiggins after the seasons over.
