Not trying to rain on your guys parade, but since everyone seems to be on this thread I figured I would check it out. And what very little I've read seems completley asinine. For example, how can you trade Kidd for Marquis Daniels? Kidd is a free agent and why on earth would he agree to a contract in order to get included in a sign and trade that would send him to a team when he could just sign with whoever he wants to, which will probably be a legit contender? Explain that one to me.

i dont know it would take a little more to get Aldridge.

llperez it was a 3 team deal with 2 of those teams being mine. I was evening them out and I got the 10th pick, and if you know anything about basketball you would see that the team he got traded to is a contender. Kidd, McGrady, Artest, Peja, Tyson Chandler and the 1st Pick (Blake Griffin)? That is a good team.

Everyone who is a possible FA for 09 is beign traded. Since technically they aren't a FA yet, they will be after the draft. We are basically saying we resigned them.

Not trying to pick on you man, but how do trade Marquis Daniels stright up for the 39th pick. Daniels makes about 7 mill per. The 39th pick makes about 500 K usually. Does the whole salary thing not matter either?

I cant pull the trigger on any of these picks yet. I want at least 2 picks in this draft. I'd like to move up or get good young talent. I dont want to take on too many guards before I know if I can move some of mine first.
