Which Zeller brother will have the better college/pro career and why?

Cody. He’s doing more earlier and has more time to grow as a player and bulk up.

He looks like a bust if hes gonna be drafted in the lottery like this site suggests. All I really see in him is length and some ok post moves. He plays too weak and I dont think hes a very good rebounder. Late first – early second is more where I see him.

Cody looks like a more well rounded player, not as long, but stonger and more versatile on defense and very efficient and hes three years younger. He looks more like a lottery pick.

I’d take Cody because i’m convinced he’ll stick around for awhile. He’s got a unique work ethic and I think when he took on the challenge of building the IU program back he was sincere. If I had to guess I say he stays at least 3 years and maybe graduates early before leaving. I predict he’ll end up with a better legacy because of how bad the program’s been and what I think they’ll become in the next 2-3 years.

I think Cody is projecting to be a different kind of prospect than Tyler by the time he’s that age. The way he’s been able to bulk up tells me he will end up as a legitimately strong, physical post up guy. He already shows the ability to power through contact. I think Tyler will always be a lean, smooth kind of scorer in the post. Tyler will be productive, but the way he still struggles against contact after 4 years worries me for the next level, although he’s got great touch inside.

Cody simply because he has an all-around game and is more physical than Tyler

Both run the floor well..but ever watch Tyler play? Doesn’t it appear that he throws the shot up then turns around

Cody, he just has so many more ways that he goes about everything. Tyler seems to rely on bulling is way around, but that just won’t be as affective in the NBA…

I think they were enjoying the success of Psycho T when they were recruiting Zeller. They both run well, play hard, rather take charges instead of blocking shots, have no post game to rave about, and have more will than talent. It works in the college game but he’ll be nothing in the league.

How many centers come into college basketball and as a freshman average 15 points on 66% for a top 25 team?  That’s rare.

I think they’re both gonna eventually have success in the NBA.  I see Tyler translating into a Marcin Gortat type of C in the league.  They have similar games except Gortat is stronger and a better defender.  But on offense they can do very similar things.

Cody is harder to project because he’s a lot more skilled and might be better suited playing PF in the NBA.  But he’s clearly the better prospect.  Yeah he needs to gain weight but what college freshman doesn’t?  Anthony Davis is going 1st and he’s need to gain about as much weight as anybody.  What I like about Cody is that he’s peformed well in the big games he’s had this season and that’s why he’s shot up the draft boards.  Cody got nice post moves and is very aggressive inside despite his thin frame plus he’s converting a ridiculous amount of his shots through contact which shows you just how nice his touch is.  You can weigh as much as you want but if you don’t know how to use your weight it means nothing.  Cody uses every pound on his body when he plays.

will have the better college career because he’s won a lot of games at UNC has been apart of a national championship team and has a chance to win one more

Cody will have the better NBA career because of how physical he is he already has some moves in the post that will improve.

Im a UNC fan and I’ve found myself saying "If Tyler was stronger than Cody" a lot this year.
