Lotto StudParticipantFinally! A Matt Jones sighting. He came up big today in his hidden role. Mike Kzryzewski must see to it, the minutes are there next season for Jones.

DukeDaSquadParticipantI love the way that Matt Jones plays. He is a smart player. He was labeled as a shooter going into college but to me the best part of his game has been defending. Even today against gonzaga he got into the passing lanes and had a couple of steals. I dont think that he gets enough credit for his dribble drive game and his passing though because a number of times during the season he has beat his man off the dribble into the paint and dropped the ball off to a big for an easy finish.
The weird thing about me to him is the consistency of his shot. I agree he is a good shooter, but sometimes he can swish a shot, and then the next time down, he barely hits the rim or airballs on a shot.

trelos6ParticipantI think Tyus Jones will head to the NBA, but he should stay.
He has shown up in big games, but has had an overall up and down year. Also, I’m not sold on his pro potential. He is composed and shoots the ball well, however, there are a lot of great PG in the league, so by staying a year, he can work on his game a little more and really hit the league running as a good backup PG.
Assuming Winslow and Okafor head to the NBA, Duke’s team looks pretty good for 2015-16
T. Jones
L.Kennard / G. Allen
M.Jones
A.Jefferson
C.Jeter / M.Plumlee
