Timberwolves up 29-17 beginning of 2nd quarter.

Eric Bledsoe 2 TO’s so far, doesn’t seem to be playing hard at all….was expecting more.

Wesley Johnson playing good, hope it translates in the season(7pts)

    Derrick Williams playing well to(8pts).

Hilton Armstrong a suprise as well(5pts,2boards,1block)

And just as he’s doing well Wes Johnson botches a fastbreak layup.

Derrick Williams and Wes Johnson played really aggressive with the ball in their hands. Williams’ athleticism and explosiveness really stood out against this competition, to me he seems poised and ready to go maybe even break out a bit this season. Some things don’t change as Johnson missed a ton of shots… Not gonna make a big deal out of one game, it was just awesome to be watching basketball and the timberwolves again..

Johnson missed a ton of shots(5-17) but at least he was being aggressive.

    Wolves won

Bledsoe was the best player for the Clippers and he was only playing half speed(11pts,5stls,5ast,5boards) had a sick block on Corey Fisher(Villanova)

Much Much better than his first debut to summerleague, alot more poised, but it also helps he’s about to go into his 3rd year.

Does anybody know if Alexey Shved is gonna make it to the summer league team? I know they signed him, but I didn’t see his name in the roster.

Bledsoe is an awesome player to watch.  Really hope he wins the back up pg position in LA.  Great change of pace player for the Clippers.  Gets all over the stat sheet.

I’m still not sure what to make of Derrick Williams.  Great talent, but I still think he’s a power forward.  I mean he’s 6’9” with a huge wingspan so he’s def not undersized imo.  Yes, he’s a good shooter but I don’t see much of a handle.  Still if Rubio is healthy next year Williams could play sf and be in the starting line up and still make a huge impact because of his athleticism, shooting, and strength.

Williams and Johnson were more aggressive but both disappointed me a bit.   Derrick Williams should have dominated in that game with the talent the Clippers had.  He had 15 points and 9 rebounds but was 4-12 from the floor.  A couple of his misses included early shots.    He also still struggled from the line in only shooting 6-12 from the free throw line.  His +/- was +8 however.  I still think all this trade talk really messed with his head.  I am not sure he is a small forward.  Although my opinion means nothing, it sounds like Adelman has his doubts too.  I still think he could be an important member of the team.

Johnson tried to be agressive but scored 16 points, but was 5-17 from the field.   His +/- was -2.  He was going a while with no turnovers, but then had two unexcuseable ones basically right after each other.

I was kind of impressed by veterans like Coby Karl and Mike Harris.  I am sure neither player will make the roster but they had a nice game.  Paulo Prestes had a nice game but we need more of an athletic big to go with Pekovic.  I am guessing he has a future with the T-Wolves.  Hummel had a solid start as he had 6 points and 6 boards.
