     http://bleacherreport.com/articles/736527-nba-trade-free-agent-buzz-dwight-howard-and-chris-paul-could-be-clippers

Interesting article that i think would make the Clippers the best team in the NBA . Yes I would take this team over the Heat because the Clippers would have a Pg with CP3 that would just be getting so many assist from throwing alley-oops to Blake Griffin and Dwight Howard. This team would also out rebound teams every single game with Dwight and Griffin. So you have those 3 players with CP3 running point and Blake and Dwight throwing down dunks and getting rebounds and then you still have Eric Gordan who averaged 22 points per game at only 22 years old. Now im sorry for my crappy grammar but I think if this Clippers could pull this off they would be the best team in the NBA and if they added a good solid forward or if Al-Farouq Aminu pans out to be a good player with his solid defense and develop a good jumper they could be one of the best teams of all time………….Yes very bold statement but i could happen.

Zero percent chance Donald Sterling actually spends money.

Dude, this is garbage. Their is no way in hell this will happen, and he provides incredibly little proof of this actual salary situation. Lower salaries will also mean a lower salary cap! Know why the Heat could sign two more guys too 8 figure deals, while signing another one of their original players too the same? By having NO salary on the cap. They had Mario Chalmers. That is it. The Clippers have Mo Williams with a player option, which they could trade for an expiring contract, but they will indeed have too sign Eric Gordon too an extension, and regardless, he will count against the cap under his new salary if they do intend on re-signing him. Not too mention, Blake is raking in 7 per year. They are getting one or the other, if that. If they get both, Gordon is gone. But, too think the Clipps are getting both seems incredibly ludicrous, as I feel there is no way Sterling pulls this one off.

I never said they would pull it off…… All I said is that was a interesting article , and then expressed my opinion on how good they could be if they did get CP3 and Dwight.

I have never seen an interesting article on bleacher report, just flawed logic and a horrible memory of history.

PLEASE STOP WITH THESE SUPER TEAMS!!! F*** BLEACHER REPORT!

I seriously hope the CBA makes sure that 3 superstars can’t form on a team! I mean it’s just unfair. It’s going to be fuc**** NY, LA and Miami winning championships for the next 15 years and other teams won’t have a chance to compete!

    @ torontoraptors10

Even if the NBA wanted to forbid "super teams" in the next CBA… what is a "superstar"?  How could you define in writing who would be designated as such?  If a player is designated a superstar, how long does this designation last?  Is it reviewed annually? Semi-annually?  Could / Would the amount of designated superstars league wide remain constant or could there be a variance in a given year?  If a team has 2 "superstars" and agree’s to an amicable trade for a third… would the league possess veto power?  Would it be at the leagues sole discretion?

Personally, I love "superteams". I think they are great for the NBA.  A "super team" didn’t win it all this year… its just a different way of building a team.  You don’t need the best talent to win a championship.  You need players who play really well together.  Its a team sport after all.

Give me one team that DOESN’T become a contender by adding CP3, and D.Howard!?! This is stupid.

If it said Chris Paul along with an above average SF that would make more sense.

C’mon man saying its not fair u sound like a hater. If a team has the money, and an appealing place to play/live or other stars to play with you wouldnt’t go play with them??? There’s no such thing as a cheap ring (See Dallas), it takes more then juss throwing talent together to win the big 1. Dallas did it with a cohesive team. Also look at the Knicks b4 they got Melo….they had a better record. I like the super team ideas i think the matchup potential with other super teams is awesome.

The article sounds like garbage.Any team would love to have both of those guys, but the chances of that happening are slim. They are not going to be able to get those two without giving up anything.

This whole super team idea is flawed and the idea that these teams have to dominate is ridiculous.  I actually thought that this year was pretty wide open, because every team had their flaws. Miami put themselves in a rare situation. How many teams with a desirable destination end up with basically 1 really cheap rookie contract on their cap and have a superstar free agent that they are about 95% sure will be back, but they can actually go over the cap to sign him if need be? They also got 3 guys that were all stars to take pay cuts. This isn’t something that is going to happen every year. Guys are going to want to get together to make better teams, but Miami had a lot of holes. NY managed to get 2 guys and that created a lot of holes for them. I’m not sure how they think they are going to get a 3rd with no trade pieces left and the amount of money being made by their big 2.

Dallas just won with one superstar against a super team. Chicago has one and they are on the rise. OKC has 2 all stars and they are working to build the best team possible around them. In recent memory L.A. has been winning with 2 allstars, San Antonio has had 3 all stars, but I definitely wouldn’t consider parker a star , but the thing is that all of these teams also have role players that can step up. We saw from Miami and NY that if the big guys don’t have really good games every night, then there is a good chance of losing.

    torontoraptors10…

Am I mistaken or did the Mavs just not beat the Heat?  Was it not one of the most compelling and interesting finals series in quite sometime?  Bring on the villain teams, it makes it all the more worthwhile when we have teams such as the Mavs rip their hearts out.

imo getting one or the other makes sense but not both howard and cp3 the chance too play with blake is very enticing for either cp3 or dh12 but as mentioned no way sterling pays for them both

I think the clippers have a better chance at getting Andre iguodala then the other Howerd or cp3.
