CJ McCollum breaks scoring record
There are like 300 people in the arena. I would go just to see him play. I just looked it up 8400 students go to quinipiac. That is a decent size, I don't know why people wouldnt show up to see one of the best players who will ever play on that court. My colleges D1 basketball team sucks, but if CJ mccollum played them at my school I would definately go to the game.
I wouldn't pair him up with Damian Lillard, because they are too similar to each other. I want him to somehow land with the Raptors, mainly I'm a fan of that team and they need a future starting PG.
1 of my friends said he wouldnt draft him in the 1st round, becuz he plays like Seth Curry, when he was at Liberty....And Seth looks average playing with the big boys..
But i think he's more like Stephen Curry...
looks pretty good against not so average teams like UK and Louisville. Also, he is only playing about 75% healthy.
Having said that, this kid is more athletic and a better player. I like the Arenas (healthy) comparison.
CJ McCollum is a nice high level scorer, remind me Gilbert Arenas in his style.
Pacers need a PG and another wing scorer!!
McCollum is the type of guy that could fit into any system, he can play both guard positions and does everything really well
With all these Curry comparisons... show me a dunk from either Curry brother that looks like this...
.
I was watching an old game of deron williams when i heard the comparison and it is a pretty good one imo

"CJ McCollum breaks all-time Patriot League scoring record after scoring 25 in the second half against Quinnipiac, including 14 straight late in the second half to break open a close game."
.
He is averaging 26 points on a stunning 50fg% to go with 3 assist and 5 rebounds...
.
We all know how teams are staring two point guards/ combo guards nowadays and that ultimately compliments bigs thanks to their court vision...
.
Imagine if somehow the Blazers can draft CJ and form a backcourt starting Lillard and McCollum.... that would be straight scary and as a GM i wouldn't skip on that duo.
