I have heard of him, but I dont understand what he was thinking by going to Quinnipiac Midnight Madness. He had an opportunity to see schools that he would actually go to and how he fit in, but instead he goes to see a school that has about a one and a million shot of landing his commitment.

 Your totally right.One of the main reasons he went to their midnight madness was because his School is in CT and they are very strict about their players heading back home or going anywhere they feel like it.Some being that Quinnipiac is in the same state as his prep school that is where he went.And believe it or not he is actually really interested in that school because he can start a new trend if he goes there. I just spoke to him about 2 weeks ago thats what he said. Who knows though.

The kid is a 2014 prospect, so he still has two more seasons where he can go to schools midnight madness. I am guessing that since he is a sophomore, he probably went to a school he had friends at or something to that extent. There are probably sophomores that do indeed go to Midnight Madness to check everything out, but I usually think that things get a little more serious the closer one is to going to college. I am starting to think that it is sometimes better for a player to develop for a while rather than get to serious into your college commitment at a young age.

Their have been an insane out of de-commitments, and I just think it is due to some kids making a decision before they have checked everything out. If he were a senior and going to Quinnipiac Midnight Madness, it might be one thing, but the kid is a sophomore. Still has a lot of time to decide. Of everything I have seen and heard about McCullough, he looks like a great prospect and definitely a player to keep an eye on.
