charlotte bocats

i'm p*ssed at mj cuz he's been a lousy owner this offseason. if i were him, i would've signed these players to cheap deals:

brandon roy - they coulda paid him more than twolves plus they need a superstar like him on their team

elton brand - offer him more money than dallas

louis scola - offer him more money than phoenix

cj watson - they could've paid him more than nets easily

biyombo, haywood, mullens

brand, scola, thomas

mkg, williams

gordon, roy, taylor, henderson

sessions, walker, watson

this team would be a lock to make the playoffs. probably 7-8 seed most likely!!!

Why would they do this?

Why do the Bobcats want to be a 7-8 seed? So they can reach mediocrity again and get swept in the playoffs before being right where they started. The reason they traded Captain Jack and Wallace was for a chance to rebuild with young talent for the chance to compete in the future.

Sure Bobcats could have done more this offseason. But trying to throw together assests for a playoff run is not what this team needs to do. They need to suck, and suck some more. This team just got a great piece going forward in MKG, and add a Cody Zeller or Shabazz, or a Parker or Wiggins the next year, and this team will be competing before you know it and for a long time. That is the strategy the Bobcats need to take. The Thunder approach.

i agree with what you wrote

i agree with what you wrote but i don't think the fans deserve to go through so much losing. i mean, i'd rather see them win a game, compete hard and entertain me on the basketball court, rather than see them go through another season of pure atrocity. fans pay big bucks for tickets and don't deserve to see them tank. plus what happens when they have to give up their pick to the bulls? don't you think they're better off improving through free agency and trades (like the lakers, celtics, heat, and knicks) rather than tanking for several more seasons? i can't stand to see them lose. while the thunder are very good and the losing strategy worked for them, the bobcats should do the fans a favor and use the lakers, heat, celtics and knicks approach by signing free agents, trading away draft picks for players, and trading for players.

Signing those players are

Signing those players are only curing symptoms not the illness. Charlotte needs pieces to build towards the future and all of those guys are not good long term pieces for a team in major rebuild mode like Charlotte. I'd rather let Charlotte finish dead last for the next 3 years so they can get high draft picks and good young players. Mj better draft wisely because in 2016 Chicago gets our first round draft pick unprotected

LOL at that being a playoff

LOL at that being a playoff team. You put Lebron instead of MKG and they barely make it. If charlotte would make the playoffs MKG would 10000% deserve the MVP award.

They are tanking for Shabuzz

They are tanking for Shabuzz Muhammad. The Bobcats would be much better off to tank another season or two and truely build a young core for the long term future than to pick up over-the-hill vets that would help them win a few more games.

Why sign a bunch of old Vets

Why sign a bunch of old Vets to try in sneak into the playoffs and hinder all they young talent on the team? They are rebuilding. No teams goal is to be the 7th or 8th sead every year.

I actually like their moves.

I actually like their moves. I mean they actually look promising right now and have a legit vet at every position except for power forward.

They are building a young

They are building a young talented team slowly through the draft and they are closer than people think because they actually have money and got some bargains while still keeping solid young talent

Sessions Gordon, Hayward,Williams can all play Sessions and Gordon has a lot of good years left. They also have young players in Walker, Henderson, MKG, perhaps Mullens, and Biyombo. If Tyrus Thomas can be as good or average as he was for Chicago this is not that bad of a team. They will still lose but they have a future which last year did not look true.

i think they brought those

i think they brought those vets to teach the young guns, i mean kemba could learn some few moves from sessions, and bismack can learn from haywood,
