- Notable Omissions: Ian Miller, Shabazz Napier, Ryan Boatright, Kyle Wiltjer, Jarnell Stokes, Jeronne Maymon, Peyton Siva, Rodney McGruder, Rodney Purvis, Christian Watford, Jamaal Franklin, Solomon Hill, Rontei Clarke, Anthony Collins, Trent Lockett, Reggie Johnson
- Too High: DeAndre Daniels, PJ Hariston, Elijiah Johnson, Richard Howell, Nurideen Lindsey, De’Mon Brooks, Vander Blue
- Too Low: CJ Wilcox, Aaric Murray, Trevor Mbakwe, Khem Birch, Trey Burke, DeShaun Thomas, Doug McDermott
- Im glad im not on an island with Rick Ledo. I had him at 16 on my board so im not too much of a homer
- From all ive read on ESPN about Willie Cauley and Ben McClemore im surprised they are not included
- Overall I think this is a very underrated and deep draft, but there isnt as much star power
- Noel, Zeller, and Muhammed are in their own top tier right now but there is a huge 2nd tier and even bigger 3rd tier.

ChewyParticipantPat Young over CJ Leslie? I’d take Leslie everyday and twice on sunday. Though Young would b a Faried type hustle guy, he should be last first rd. Leslie could be lottery.
Isaih Austin is rated way too high. He has the size, but I’m not sold on him and I want to see him prove himself in college before saying he’s a top ten guy.

Sewok15ParticipantI would take Young over Leslie on potential. He could have a TRob type of year if he gets it together. The CJ that is underrated here is CJ Aiken of St. Joes I think he could be a decent NBA player.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantTrevor mbwake is getting the Leon powe treatment, Seth curry won’t get drafted unless he can improve his shooting off the dribble and work on his handles, Otto porter and kentavious Caldwell are too low these guys can ball, did Rodney hood just fall off the face of the earth? Where is he

NbanflguyParticipantWasnt Mbawke thought of as a late 1st-early 2nd round pick earlier this year? Idk how a torn acl drops him all the way to 82. This isnt the 1970’s, acl injuries really are not the end of the world anymore.
0- Posted on: Fri, 06/29/2012 - 10:07am #690500
HaleParticipantHe’s going to be a 24 year old slightly undersized PF, with the added injury concern. Although he should still be in the top 60.

HaleParticipantNoel, Austin and CJ McCollum are all too high. Noel is at best the 4th best prospect right now, Austin is as soft as they come and McCollum is a straight chucker.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantLmao at Austin over Adams.
Shabazz is hands-down the best prospect in this draft, I would only consider Cody Zeller at #1 simply because of his polish but I believe Shabazz has more potential.

mattmancalcagnoParticipantjust wondering as a duke fan do any of you guys see the likes of Ryan Kelly and Seth Curry being drafted because I can see both having tremendous years at Duke this year since Rivers dipped early. Kelly is a high scoring foward who can stretch the floor and I see him having a ryan anderson type career. With Curry i also can see improving a lot since he wont be asked to be a pg so now he can just sit on the wing and get buckets. I also see him as having a backup role in nba. I probably wont get thumbs and stuff but i was just curious since I see people like marshall plumlee and rasheed on this list.

Lotto StudParticipantIt painfully kills me that Siva has been wrote off, I love what he brings to the wood as a little guy he is a version of Nate Robinson meets Sebastian Telfair.

WizardofOzParticipantSiva is garbage. Too small, over-penetrates, can’t shoot, not a good decision maker. Future PG in China.

machu46ParticipantNate Robinson is 13058203852 times the athlete that Peyton Siva is.

WizardofOzParticipantThe top 3 should be Shabazz, Steven Adams, and umm…Tony Mitchell?
Tough call but im not big on Noel or Zeller….or McAdoo for that matter. A lot of these projected top guys have so much to learn. Not zeller, but I think his upside is limited.
2013 looks kind of bleak. I hope some unheralded freshmen surprise and climb up the ranks.

machu46ParticipantNice to see MCW and CJ Fair representing SU on this list.

UNCbasketballbumParticipantIf Mason "friggin" Plumlee got drafted, Ryan Kelly should be drafted. He has a nice skill set, although mediocre athleticism.

Memphis MadnessParticipantThere’s a lot of promise at the top of the 2013 draft. Jarnell Stokes looks legit too. I think we will get some breakout guys. Shaq Goodwin might be a guy that will move up the charts this year for Memphis.
It should be fairly solid.
The talent might drop off a bit earlier next year but Noel, Zeller, McAdoo, and Mohammed look promising. Next year’s draft will help the top 3-5 lottery teams and then at the bottom of the first round the contenders who only need to add role players/depth. I don’t think there will be as many great players in the middle of the draft. Basically, if you win a top three pick you will be good. And if you are Sam Presti picking for the Thunder you should get a steal late in the first round. But if you are a mediocre team looking to get a lot better then I don’t think 2013 is your year.
If I am the Sixers though, next year’s pick going to Miami could turn into a solid player. Miami ended up trading down this year, getting a big center in the second round, saving money, and then getting a decent draft pick in next year’s draft which will still have some solid players throughout the first round. While Arnett Moultrie looks promising, the Heat might get a better fit in next year’s draft. I think Miami made a pretty good move. They already have Bosh, Haslem, LeBron, and Shane Battier as guys who can play power forward, and Moultrie doesn’t look like an NBA center at this point. That money was better spent going after a free agent (Ray Allen), getting Eddy Curry’s replacement as a 14th (15th?) man, and then getting another pick next year. So the Heat have two picks next year in a draft that could end up being "underrated".

lalailaParticipantidk is it only me but there is NO way Cody is #1 in the draft..just look at the history there haven’t been below 240lbs 6’8!!winspan pure center selected that high i think even if his skills would be alltime great you still would look at him and say he hasn’t that much potential..
im also a believer than Bazz has to be #1 Noel is good but really no Anthony Davis to be honest..
also i think it depends a lot on McAdoo body he looks to have a TRob type of muscular wide body structure and he looks to have even longer arms than those 7′ he measured at nike hoop sumit, IF it is true he could be a bigtime contender
