    Bobcats:

Gerald Henderson- He’s been aggressive in every game, even though he really struggled against the scrappy defense Boston’s guys played. Nothing new, athletic slasher needs to improve his jump shot and ball-handling ability. Mediocre D for the 3rd straight game. He won’t get a bunch of minutes for Coach Brown until he improves that. He plays like a SF, and he’s 6’4. That’s a problem.

Derrick Brown- Can get to the rim off of 1 or 2 dribbles in half-court because of his long strides, but he had his worst game as well. Needs to improve his shooting consistency, but he is respectable with his feet set. Did a poor job on D against DeShawn Sims, after playing solid D in the 1st 2 games. He has the potential to get in Charlotte’s rotation. Has some good upside and athleticism.

Alexis Ajinca- Falls in love with the mid-range jumper, even though he has a pretty soft touch, it’s inconsistent. Looks stiff with his back to the basket. A shot-blocking presence. Needs a better understanding of the game. I wouldn’t bet on him playing much next year, still too raw and inconsistent from play to play.

Jerel McNeal- He lacks significant talent, but will defend tough. Turns his man a lot and can pressure the ball. Continues to look poor handling the ball, which is bad for a guy trying to prove he’s a PG.

Jeremy Pargo- Will makes plays with his speed and athleticism, but he’s not a PG. Looks for his shots and is prone to overdribbling. Played OK D this game. He won’t make a roster until he improves his playmaking skills.

Sherron Collins and Denis Clemente got little to no action. Not looking good for either one to make the roster at all.

Not much went right for Charlotte today.

    Boston:

Luke Harangody- Played very well when he was on the court. His shot is very ugly, but it’s consistent and effective. Still ran into trouble around the rim finishing and elevating. Can be shot over when on D. Has some trouble with tall, athletic face-up PF’s.

Jaycee Carrol- He’s got a nice shot and can get in the lane and make floater. Soft touch. Still can’t defend or handle the ball very well.

DeShawn Sims- Had a great game out of nowhere. Has some face-up scoting ability. Can knock down shot spotting up. Made some nice cuts off the ball, and was rewarded on occasion. Opened some eyes, even though he’s still an extreme long-shot.

Ryan Thompson- He’s not going to make the team, but he did play more aggressive than he had in the 1st 2 games. He lacks quickness and athleticism and struggles to create shots for himself. Not really good at anything at this level.

Matt Janning- Shot the ball extremely well, and made some athletic plays. Looked aggressive. Played extremely well, out of NOWHERE.

Yeah it got ugly after about 5 mins in the 1st lol. Neither team has prospects that are all that intriguing, other than 1 or 2 guys (Henderson/Brown and Gody).

I had no idea Darius Miles was even still trying to play ball. He definitely hasn’t played. Shawne Williams has though

I haven’t seen Miles out there either. I noticed Shawne out there towards the end.

I caught the last 8 or 10 pts Janning scored. He looked very impressive. I know it was just one game, but he was aggressive taking it in on Pargo. His shot looked good too. If he keeps that play up he should land in someone’s training camp.

And did anyone notice the “LeBron James trackdown” block he had on some guy.

    He must’ve eaten his Wheaties.
