Have you ever watched a game where the live camera angle was any worse? The incompetent TNT director put us in the worst seat in the house with his ultra wide, long distance camera angle that made the players look like tiny people. I  felt as if I were sitting in the last row of the balcony and had to strain my eyes to follow the action under the basket. Near the end, the Celtics had a few turnovers and I could barely see what was happening.

Tonight’s great camera angle was fantastic if you wanted to watch the people in the stands, but it certainly fell far short of bringing us close up to the action so we could watch some of the greatest athletes in the world. The real irony were those terrific replays where you saw everything you missed during LIVE coverage.

Do you think the director should have used some of those fantastic camera angles for LIVE coverage?

    Note

TNT has another director who’s the complete opposite of this bozo. He’s a fantastic professional who will bring you exciting, live, close up angles of the game. I’m betting he will be on the Memphis – OK game and the camera work will be vastly superior to what we saw in the Heat-Celtics game.
