Should the Celtics keep Pierce or not?Maybe buy him and then sign him for 10 mill 2 year
contract,what do you think?

Do you really think Boston would slap one of their all time great players in the face with a 2 year 10 mill contract? Reggie Evans makes 5 mill a year, or at least he did at one point. Pierce has got to be worth more than that, even at this stage of his career.

As a Celtics fan since the beginning and a senior citizen, I feel enough’s enough….this reminds me of the end of the Bird era…down decade following that…..I see the need to rebuild not hang on to the hope of a 7th seed…..move on….even though I might not be around for the next high

I love Pierce, he’s still so valuable.. 18.6 ppg, 4.8 apg and 6.3 rbg for the 35 years old vet shows he still got some more basketball in him.. and yeah they wont buy him out lol

Unless a deal worth the value of him or close to present itself stay put. His money comes off the books after the season. Reggie Lewis died and Len Bias died. The C’s were ready back in the bird years. Their peices died. 2013 is a different situation.
