    Have been released.

First Team: Kris Dunn, Buddy Hield, Ben Simmons, Kyle Wiltjer, Skal Labissiere

Second Team: Jamal Murray, Melo Trimble, Malcom Brogdon, Georges Niang, Nigel Hayes

Third Team: Fred Vanvleet, Marcus Paige, Denzel Valentine, Perry Ellis, Jakob Poeltl

Reactions? Jamal Murray is the only one that really blows my mind…what are you all’s thoughts?

I hate it when freshman are pre-season all-americans.  Simmons and Skal are as talented as they come but they have np business being ahead of proven guys like Malcolm Brogdon, Melo Trimble and Georges Niang in my humble opinion.

Very surprised that CBS thinks so highly of Jamal Murray, I am a huge fan of him but to be nominated for preseason all-american is huge. However, I do not think he should be on there, Fred Vanvleet should be bumped to second team and Tyler Ulis should slide in on the third team.

I think Tyler Ulis is and will be the most important college basketball player to his respective team. At the end of the year he will be a first team all-american.

Caris levert should at least be third team imo. Jamal Murray should not be on the list at all, at least not yet. I’m OK with Simmons on the first team because he will undoubtedly be the focal point of lsu’s offense and put up big numbers but I don’t think skal should be on there.

Skal still isn’t cleared to play…really feel for him if he can’t.  Love his game.  Agree that Murray is my kind of head scratcher.

I’ll guarantee Levert as an AA this year.

Remove Poeltl, Paige and Hayes. Add Damion Jones and Tyrone Wallace.

If Skal doesn’t clear, add Sabonis.

It’s tough to but any freshman on these teams before they even play a college game  but I think Murray is as talented as anyone. His numbers/usage may not show it at Kentucky this season but he has a real nice game, size, and success against professional competition.

I’m kind of surprised that Ron Baker wasn’t listed as a pre-season AA but love the Vanvleet selection I enjoy seeing some of the smaller schools getting some love for thier players. That said this is a very good group of players and lets get this season tipped off I’m ready for some hoops.

Because he’s backing up the 2nd best player in college basketball.

It looks as if each man will move up from where he would have been drafted had they entered the 2015 Draft, so I’m glad it’s looking good for them although until it happens we won’t know… But I like to see guys that take that risk to return get rewarded… Does anyone know what’s going on with Skal?
