Ok Cavs.  You have 2 guys on your team who are chuckers, nobody on your starting line up plays defense, and there is a guy available who plays defense, and doesn’t always look to score.

Nope, definitely take the guy who doesn’t play defense and loves to shoot.

You also have a new head coach who might actually…you know…coach these guys.

Am I the only one who is confused? How are Cavs torn if Jabari was so awful during his workout, weight is now up to 254 lbs/11% body fat and he was "huffin’ and puffin’"?

…because he also gave every indication that he didnt want to be there.

I think its that hard to get thing, the less they want you the more you want them.

They are trying to get Milwaukee, Philly, Orlando, and Utah to keep offering more to see if they get blown away by an offer.

Utah has already offered everything of value except Kanter and Trey Burke already.

    Cavs will take Wiggins.

I wanted Embiid, then Parker, now I want Wiggins. This whole thing has been a headache, but its better than still picking 9 or 10.

With the way this team is constructed as of now then Wiggins to me is a no brainer now. If they want Parker they would need to move Waiters or make him the 6th man. David Blatt is going to change a lot of things anyways so might as well grab a guy who has elite athleticism and is a great perimieter defender. His offense will come in time.

I wouldn’t be upset with Parker but Wiggins makes more sense.

I gotta go with Sonny on this one.

We all saw the video yet everyone believes every stupidly improbable draft week smokescreen that is posted.

How could he have gained 20 lbs. in a week or two?

Ok so according to his dad,he just looked bad in the workout because he might actually be overrated, not because he tried to look bad.Or he might have just had one bad workout because just physically and mentally exhausted.Bad timing but it happens.

And as far as the weight thing is concerned, you honestly cant be sure looking at that workout with him wearing that large shirt how much he weighed. As far as explosiveness, and nimbleness,he looked pretty much exactly or very close to how he looked during the season.

His arms (the part you can see anyway) look thinner…

This is absurd anyway. It’s draft week so suddenly everyone loses all common sense and perspective and jumps on every piece of news out there.

I think people are doing to Parker what they did to Kevin Love when he was coming out.

Lacks explosiveness under the basket…gets stuffed by more athletic players…possible weight issues.

Like Love, Parker’s a quality guy – that’s the bottom line. He is going to succeed in the league like Love.

The only thing torn about Jabari Parker will be his suit on draft night.

Funny, but Aaron Gordon makes sense for Cleveland.  He can rebound, defend, run the floor, and DUNK.  They have scorers with Kyrie and Dion.  Anthony Bennett plays the other forward spot.

    Ah heck.

I have them going with Wiggins.

But, does Aaron Gordon work here?

and right now the offer of Favors, Burks, Gobert, #5, and #23 for #1 and Jack is not exciting Cavs front office

The only upside to all these reports that they are split on the two,  is that all indications are they really are down to just those two.  They can’t go wrong with either.

Wiggins is an elite athlete with elite size for his position, something the Cavaliers generally lack.  His perimeter defense will not only free up Waiters and Kyrie, but also allow free agent hopeful LeBron the opportunity to play off the opposition’s best player.

Parker on the other hand is a tweener, who is expected to be a defensive liability, with weight issues.  Despite a different offensive style he’s completely redundent with last year’s 1st overall pick, and plays in the same space as LeBron and Anthony – both of whom that have a plan in place to sign if they are willing.

Pretty easy to see why they’d be conflicted.

Just seeing that the Cavs love surprising everyone by drafting a Canadian (Thompson, Bennett) in the top 5, I definitely would be shocked if they didn’t take Wiggins (who is most likely better than those two) lol.
