Mr.Knick 32ParticipantThat’s a bad deal IMO if I’m Los Angeles.
I just drafted both Aminu and Warren, why move them? Also, why give up another 2 future 1st when OKC already own another 1st of mine? If I’m the Clippers- Why not go after Iguadala?

Charlie SheenParticipantIggy or Melo
I choose Carmelo he is a center piece for a franchise and worth a MAX deal he can be the go to guy the Clippers need. Aminu will never max out to be as good as Carmelo, Warren is a project and at best a poor mans Ben Gordon the 2 first are for Nene and JR 2 solid role guys. JR scoring off the bench is key and Nene is a beast inside this deal is good both ways

Stojakovicfor3ParticipantThat will never ever ever happen ever. Probably the worst trade idea I have ever heard.

Forte IVParticipantThe reason it would never work is simple. Both Melo and JR are expiring contracts. Why would the Clips give Kaman, 2 young guys, AND two 1sts just to see two of the guys they are trading for walk?

PurpleMonkeyDishwasherParticipantIf the Clippers were to receive Carmelo in a trade, Kaman, Aminu and Warren would mean very little…
being that the Clippers could attract othermore experienced/talented players to replace them. The 1st rd picks would be little better than a 2nd rd pick because they would be deep in playoffs.0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/30/2010 - 5:31pm #344501
Charlie SheenParticipantThats good because the Clippers need to win the 2 first will probally never compare to Carmelo so why not pull the trigger but only pull it if Melo JR and Nene are willing to sign extensions or at leats Melo and Jr or Nene this line up can win a title
C- Nene/Jordan
F- Griffin/4 man that shoot 3’s
F- Anthony/perimeter defender
G- Gordon/Smith
G- Bledsoe/back up pg0 - Posted on: Wed, 06/30/2010 - 5:43pm #344503
JJeff6ParticipantI dont like this trade. Nobody would agree to it. Giving up 3 first rounders and Kaman is a little much even for Melo.

Hoops MaestroParticipantMore importantly, why would Denver give away three good players for a pile of junk? As a wise man (George Karl, if I recall correctly) once said, “you can pile your trash as high as a house, but that doesn’t make it a house.”

apb540ParticipantThat’s a terrible trade.

OhCanada-ParticipantHAHAHAH KNICKS ALWAYS THINK THEY HAVE AN ADVANTAGE COME FREE AGENCY
Bad trade it makes Denver just like the current LA Clippers but with less talent. That is not a Playoff Team when giving away Nene, Smith and Anthony.Just takes from the Dynamics of the team, way too much with the Centerpiece and Top Big along with bench presence leaves.
Your being too modest to your own team.
