Lotto StudParticipant"To see the beauty of a Rose you must respect it’s thorns & that he will be in the Pacers a**"-Jalen Rose
Now with that being said DRose will put up spectacular #s up against Collison. I don’t know what he will drop today, but this is a mismatch all series long. I wonder if the Pacers will keep it close, they have the wings.

i’m jus so offendedParticipanthahaha @lions, they looked good at the start but bulls got too much firepower…..rose’s shots have been spectacular, Noah and Hibbert is going to be fun to watch, not happy Paul George got those 2 fouls so quick, I haven’t seen any of him this year.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 7:25am #521839
i’m jus so offendedParticipantOMG that block and spin!!!!!! that was so nasty, and Collison has been looking great
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 7:26am #521840
kaceyParticipantDRose is a beast. That block was dirty and that spin move was dirty. I have never seen someone alter their layup as much as he does and still finish.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 7:35am #521844
llperezgreat battle between rose and collison so far, not looking like a mismatch yet.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 7:41am #521845
omphalosParticipantThat block… he recovered so quick! Who says Rose can’t defend when he sets his mind to it?

Lotto StudParticipantRose has to have the best hangtime in the league
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 8:10am #521858
Lotto StudParticipantGranger has to get it going 6pts 3-8 FG
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 8:13am #521861
llperezwow, rose just got away with hacking dollison with 1 second left on a shot attempt. Then the tech on the pacers to boot for arguing it.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 8:20am #521864
B FreeParticipantYea that was a crap call, but this is turning into a great game. Obviously you can’t stop Rose you can only hope to contain him and Darren might be the guy to do it, he was always and amazing defender in college then last year was good as a rookie and maybe took a step back this season. But if he keeps up his intensity and keeps making Rose work on D they might have a good series.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 8:20am #521866
I May Be WrongParticipanthas ran the offense beautifully against Chi-town in the first half. He should have had like 8 assists by now had it not been for some missed shots by his teammates but I am very impressed how D-Coll has been handling the pressure thus far.
Lets see if the Pacers can keep it up in the second half!
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 8:33am #521874
omphalosParticipantDeng is having a quiet game offensively, but is absolutely shutting down Granger. The more I watch Granger the less convinced I am he’s anything but a shooter, certainly not the best player on a contending team, even one built like Detroit. We’ll see what happens for the remainder of the series, but if he doesn’t put in a better showing from here on out the Pacers might start looking for a better option. Good thing they have Paul George waiting in the wings to take his spot.

llperezi’ve watched the pacers throughout the season cause im a collison fan plus i owned a couple pacers in my fanatasy league, and i always wondered why they didnt win more games. This team has more talent then 37 wins.

B FreeParticipantHanbourgh is dropping every mid range jumper. He is looking like a solid player, I have said all year they needed to get a PF but he is proving he can be that guy.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 8:55am #521877
Lotto StudParticipantStill waiting on that Bulls run SHEESH!
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 8:59am #521879
B FreeParticipantthat looks like a concusion.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 8:59am #521881
llperezhuge 3 by rush, pacers not allowing the b ulls to gain much momentum
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:02am #521882
B FreeParticipantI can’t wait to hear from that guy who was pumping D-Coll on another thread saying he was a 22ppg 11 ast 5 reb player.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:07am #521883
B FreeParticipantGranger looks like he did two seasons ago.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:18am #521886
I May Be WrongParticipantThey need to get price out. Its crunch time and Collison needs to be there and Jeff Foster taking 15 footers isnt cutting it. Pacers had a chance to really put pressure on the bulls but its only a 2 possession game still…. nope make it one cuz DENG just hit the 3 lol
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:21am #521887
llperezhansbrough killing boozer
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:22am #521888
Lotto StudParticipantI understand that it’s a playoff type atmosphere & the intensity level will be high, but both teams will have to keep their composure if they plan on going far. I would hate to see Chicago & Boston matchup especially for the simple fact that KG can get into Noah’s head like no other.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:23am #521891
omphalosParticipantDamn, Tyler is cold-blooded. If Pacers lose this one from here it’ll take the life out of them for the rest of the series. Bulls might just need that wake up call with a loss at home.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:25am #521892
JimmeredYaWabafetParticipantFauck u Tyler!! 🙁
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:25am #521893
FastAndFuriousParticipantHansbrough gonna make a couple extra million off this game alone lol
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:25am #521894
Da1potParticipantBoozer is defending Hansbrough horribly and had a lot of lazy fouls in the first half, too. He really needs to step it up defensively. An as I’m writing this, he just stripped him and took it coast to coast for and and 1 dunk on Boozer.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:25am #521896
Lotto StudParticipantStupid a** foul!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF was Booz thinking!!!!!!
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:25am #521897
kaceyParticipantDang, Hansbrough. I have never cheered for him ever, but I’m rooting for him now. Would love to see a Pacers upset here.

0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:33am #521902
llperezwow, and just like that. ROse takes over down the stretch.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:33am #521903
kaceyParticipantAnd now the Pacers will be swept. Good try.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:33am #521904
FastAndFuriousParticipantSum it up…………….
Every 4th quarter Rose does this when they are down…Just give him the ball and get out his way.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:36am #521905
llperezpacers just fell apart down the stretch and the bulls took over. Great game to watch though to start the playoffs.

B FreeParticipantBest player in the NBA??
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:38am #521907
FastAndFuriousParticipantAight now tha comment the announcer made about D.Rose being the best PG might be true…but best player in the world? NOT
The best player IMO is playing on ABC against the sixers
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:38am #521908
B FreeParticipantNow I guess we all start hoping for a Phili upset
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:40am #521909
ghettosermonParticipantlol Josh McRoberts
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:41am #521910
omphalosParticipantHell of a playoff opener, Rose had an amazing game in the paint, outside? Not so much… but the result is all that counts.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:44am #521911
MkadozaParticipantWhy are people so surprised at Boozers defense? And Rose really reminds me of a 6’3" Lebron in skillset and freaky athleticism.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:46am #521912
bennydabullParticipantHOLY CRAP. WOW. I’M CRYING.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 9:55am #521917
Jlv2011there wasn’t a doubt in my mind that the Bulls were not going to win this game.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 10:01am #521922

Toronto16ParticipantThe refs gave Chicago this game
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 1:08pm #521993
llperezi was pulling for indiana and i dont think the refs decided this game. A couple missed calls happen but indiana lost this game because
A-the bulls, led by rose, finished like a great team
B-the bulls hit the offensive boards hard which bailed them out of a large number of bad offensive possesions.
C-Pacers coach head scratchingly sat darren collison the whole 4th until less then 5 minutes remained. Price was playing well shooting but was not creating for others like DC was.
D-i really thought the posseion with less then 3 minutes remianing where hansbrough missed a good look at a lay up then chi got the ball and pushed it up the court in 2 passes and got an and 1 lay up from noah. That 5 point swing was HUGE.
Regardless, i think the pacers gained confidence from this game. Some will say that it was the pacers best shot and that the bulls stealing the game will only rip out their hearts, but i disagree. I think the pacers will continue to fight.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 1:57pm #522019
quinceyh1Pacers should have won that game
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 2:04pm #522023
KayjayParticipantThe Pacers actually have a shot. They aren’t your typical 8th seed.
0 - Posted on: Sat, 04/16/2011 - 2:18pm #522033
cward23ParticipantDa Bulls are still gonna sweep them. Pacers got lucky and played the best that they can play
