IndianaBasketballParticipantLAC starting out strong in front of their home crowd, while the Bulls still playing like they’re full from last seasons success.
Griffin in two plays has shown a pump fake, drive and dunk… And then excellent footwork with the up and under on Boozer.

IndianaBasketballParticipantD. Rose looks like a more mature player this year… He’s seeing the floor better and playing at an even more controlled pace.
It’s clear he’s trying to get his teammates more involved this year.

JaeEvolutionParticipantI agree D. Rose is no longer that shot chucker he was last year. He has really in games I’ve seen slowed and sped the pace up like a Rondo or CP3 he really looks good now.

IndianaBasketballParticipantA lot of people don’t realize that Rose took a lot of shots because he had too. He’s always prefered to be a pass first point guard.
I think that now his team is healthy, we’ll see him getting more people involved first and then taking over when the game is on the line.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantThis bad boy’s on NBATV. Gonna be a barnburner. Already seen lob city twice from Moe Williams and Karen Butler.

HaleParticipantRose was an anti-chucker until last season. He was way too passive.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 6:43pm #619881
IndianaBasketballParticipantI’m all for Rose getting his teammates involved, but I actually think he could be more aggressive.
But he can get his whenever he wants… I think it’s smart that he’s trying to give his teammates confidence. He can’t do it by himself, especially vs a great defensive team like Miami.

HaleParticipantIf he sacrifices some scoring to make the team better come playoffs I’m all for it. He will find his time to score more points when he has too.

IndianaBasketballParticipantAs good as a defender as Noah is, he’s really no match for Griffin.
15, 8 and 3 for Griffin at the half. He’s shown a lot. Reverse pivot up and unders. Fadeaways. Power moves at the bucket. His go-to spin move on the block. Dunks. Leading the fast break and great passes. Hustle plays and hitting the floor for loose balls.
Still not impressed with his defense though.

HaleParticipantWho is winning the Rose/Paul battle right now? I can’t watch the game and I don’t want to box score evaluate.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 6:58pm #619903
F_DA_POParticipantPaul doesn’t seem to be able to guard Rose
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:00pm #619905
IndianaBasketballParticipantPaul has been more of a pest at the defense end, but Rose is definitely winning the battle.
Rose has a gear that Paul no longer has. I’ve noticed that the only time Paul can score on Rose is when he gets a pick… Yet Paul can’t contain Rose off of the dribble. Rose is bigger, stronger, faster and quicker. And in the few plays Rose has attacked the rim, he’s made it look so easy. He could obliterate Paul if he wanted.
I’m not so sure Paul is better than Rose…
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:06pm #619912
IndianaBasketballParticipantAnd defensively, Rose is all over Paul… Paul can’t get free without a pick. LAC is setting double screens for Paul right now just to get him free.

HaleParticipantYeah, I found the game online. Blake can’t be guarded by anyone.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:10pm #619916
IndianaBasketballParticipantPaul did just break Rose down off of the dribble something serious…
DeAndre Jordan still thinks he’s supposed to block every shot… 4th foul and gives Deng three free-throws. Now Brian Cook in the game.

FastAndFuriousParticipantBlake Griffin was just blessed wit some crazy bounce man lol
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:29pm #619924
IndianaBasketballParticipantD. Rose’s defense has improved… He’s really done a great job on Paul.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:31pm #619927
HaleParticipantThe Bulls pass the ball as a team extremely well.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:33pm #619928
IndianaBasketballParticipantDeng is very underrated.
I also think I could be wrong on the Rip Hamilton pickup. He looks like a very good fit at both ends.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:35pm #619930
FastAndFuriousParticipantUmmm so Chris Paul has the best handle still lol he is yo yoing Derrick Rose haha
If Derrick Rose had a handle like that boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy lol
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:37pm #619931
IndianaBasketballParticipantI don’t know who’s the worst foul machine… Deandre Jordan or Omer Asik.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:38pm #619932
IndianaBasketballParticipantWow… Rose just flew right by Paul and it didn’t take 30 dribbles.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:39pm #619933
FastAndFuriousParticipantLmao same thing I was about to say, Rose just blew by paul like he wasnt there.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:39pm #619934
HaleParticipantIt’s amazing how much he has improved at the line.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:40pm #619935
IndianaBasketballParticipantPaul’s hands are still quick as F though.
What makes Paul great is because he knows EVERYONE’S game… He understands their strengths and weaknesses and where they like the ball.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:47pm #619936
IndianaBasketballParticipantLAC can’t defend. They remind me of the Suns. It’s basically spacing the floor with shooters, and running pick and roll with Paul and Griffin/Jordan.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:53pm #619939
HaleParticipantRose is killing it right now.
EDIT: Wow, Blake just dominating now.

Hi its BenParticipantWOW! My boy D-Rose has gone off for 26 and 15 right now. I think that might be a career high in assists? I dunno.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:55pm #619942
IndianaBasketballParticipantRose and Paul have played head to head most of the game.
Rose has 26, 4 and 15.
Paul has 13, 3 and 12.
Here’s the BIG stat tho… Rose +16 and Paul -13.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 7:56pm #619944
HaleParticipantRose’s career high is 17.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 8:05pm #619950
IndianaBasketballParticipantPaul can’t handle Rose lmao.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 8:05pm #619952
Hi its BenParticipantTHAT WAS DIRTY! 29 pts 16 assists 8 rebs lol
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 8:07pm #619954
Winning_TimeParticipantDoes Rose have a shot now?
0 - Posted on: Fri, 12/30/2011 - 8:10pm #619955
IndianaBasketballParticipantD. Rose 29 points on 14 shots. 3-4 3-PT. 10-11 FT. 8 rebounds. 15 assists.
He was dominate tonight. Wasn’t even close between him and Paul.
He sure looked like the best point guard in the NBA to me tonight.

bedrock23ParticipantRose is 5-0 against Chris Paul
