Joe Alexander is looking better in summer league. Do you think it will show come start of the season? With the additions of Jennings and Meeks. What are your feelings on this team based off of summer league play and the roster they have? What other needs do they have?

I think there season depends on…

Joe Alexander – He has to fill in the hole that Richard Jefferson left

Michael Redd – Can he stay healthy, all season long?

Andrew Bogut – Villanueva’s gone, will he be able to add more points & stay healthy?

Since atleast 1 of those things have to go wrong, i say they’ll be back in the lottery..

I think Bogut has no offense and they should look to trade him. Do you think it is too early 4 that move?

Didn’t they just sign Bogut to an extension? Like 5 or 6 years for $60 million?

Yeah they are a lottery team for sure. Jennings & Meeks do look promising. Alexander won’t be a factor, he looks like a backup at best to me. The same thing can be said for Moute. Their biggest need is to sign a free agent PF. I mean I hope they are not expecting Amir Johnson to start hahah. They have to get an upgrade at PF. They need an upgrade at SF too IMO. Overall not a good team. One of the 3 worst teams in the East along with the Nets & Knicks.

I think it would be best if they let Sessions go. Then they could possibly sign Big Baby or David Lee. If Alexander or Moute don’t develop into a quality starter this year then after the season they can sign a good SF through 2010 free agency or address their needs in the draft.

I wouldn’t trade Bogut…the Bucks are really weak in the post as it is.

Gator, man you have zero confidence in Alexander. And thats fine, i dont care. Its just that the guy is a crazy athlete with a great work ethic. Guy is going to start one day. But thats my opinion. This team will not be a contender for a long time if ever. Untill they get a post presence, their picks in the draft will be top 15. However, they have some bright points. Amir will never start and if he does then wow. Just my 2 cents.

If they would have been able to hold on to Charlie V, I think they could have made a run at the playoffs, but even an improved Joe Alexander can’t replace his scoring so im thinking a 33-38 win team destined for yet another lottery pick
