prophetmeirParticipantThis site has THon going second round, I can almost guarantee you that he is not the Bucks will take him at number 10 in this years draft. I think they will do it silently leading up to the draft and possibly not even request a workout for him. With Monroe going to the bench I think his contract can be looked at as a trade piece if they wanted and thon fits in with there defensive scheme long athletic players gambling on every spot of the floor. You heard it here first!

BallerScriptParticipantIf they get thon and then get Zhou Qi with their later pick… MCW, Giannis, Thon, Henson, Zhou… the LENGTH

Stop_basketball_nonsenseParticipantI have been considering with the way the Bucks current length and skill it might be worth it for a chance on thon. I don’t know much about him except he can shoot well for a big man and plays hard.
I know trades people support on this site are a dime a dozen but I have considered this. With thon there they atleast try trading Monroe to portland. I feel Portland would benefit from a scoring big man, takes pressure off Dame & cj. They have defense with plumlee& leonard.
Portland gets; monroe
Bucks get; 2017&2018 guaranteed 1st, harkless, maybe ed Davis depending on how much bucks want.
I know Portland picks in the 2 next drafts might be around the 20s considering Portland will progress every season, but considering Monroe isn’t a good fit at all for the bucks, and harkless has shown promise it could be a solid deal.

negguaryParticipantlike that trade because at worse the bucks are getting rid of his contract and the blazers are getting a great post scorer to go with lillard and cj. If Monroe could learn to pass from the post consistently the open shots for dame and cj would be CRAZY.

morestealsthanscoresParticipantThat says far more about the late lottery than thon right now. The middle of the first round is going to suck this year.

HitsterParticipantThe Bucks will probably be looking for a shooter in this draft but if they go for a big then Poeltl would seem a logical pick if he was still on board or maybe Skal.
Thon’s draft place is all over the board, I feel that 10 would be a reach for him but I cannot see him slipping into the 2nd round given the amount of teams with multiple picks or shrewd teams in the draft.
