Raef LaFrentzParticipantLooks like to Wolves are preparing to make Roy an offer.

WrecklessParticipantThought he wanted to play for a contender?

mosdefParticipantthey should. they have the worst SG in the league in Wes Johnson

SpacegrassParticipantT-Wolves should still try and add another good wing player if possible. Mainly because until Roy does it for a full season you can’t trust Roy to be a starter or carry a significant load. Not saying he can’t , but given his recent history health wise it would be risky.

Cavaliers420ParticipantThey can offer him whatever they want doesn’t mean he’s interested. Pretty sure he’s going to play for a contending team.

ChewyParticipantThey are a young team that has an exciting future (not sure I’ve ever been able to say that about a KG-less Wolves team before). They have Rubio at point. They have Pekovic and Love in the post (Wolves fans- how much is Darko really giving this team?). If Williams can start at 3 then play 4 when Love moves to the 5. Sign Roy and draft a sg, then there is no doubt in my mind that this is a playoff team if they remain healthy.
Pg- Rubio, Ridnour, Barea
Sg- 2012 Draft pick (Ross, D Lamb, Jenkins, Cunningham), Roy (limited minutes as health percaution), Wes Johnson
Sf- Williams, Beasely
pf- Love, Williams, Beasely
C- Pekovic, Love, Darko
(and that’s without any pieces they might be able to get by trading Beasely)

PulseGlazerParticipantUnless I’m nuts, Roy won’t be a free agent. If he comes back the Blazers have to amnesty him and then we’re in the waiver game. He still has that huge contract that didn’t just go away.

ChewyParticipanthave already amnestied Roy. Roy can’t resign with the Blazers until his original contract ends after the 2013/2014 season.

NbanflguyParticipantBout time we finally got him to play for us! Hopefully we dont trade him for Randy Foye again.

For_Never_EverParticipantI really think it’s best for him to stay out the game, then risk being in a wheel chair for the rest of his life. I know he was great, and if he had good knees has hall of fame potential.

PulseGlazerParticipantThen that’s an awesome deal for the Wolves and allows them to take BPA in the draft.
