Obviously he’s very talented, but I can’t help but think of how much he reminds me of Quincy Miller…from Baylor though, not Pre ACL. I even looked up his draft profile on here & it seems very similar to Ingram’s…same strengths, same weaknesses. Now, I love Miller’s game, but he hasn’t found tha success many of us expected & isn’t even in tha league right now. Does that cause any concern for you guys? Just wondering…

Quincy wasn’t as skilled as Ingram, The Difference between the two Ingram can operate in the Half Court while Miller struggled

onky similarities I see are body type. Everything else seems different. I think is off the dribble game is what separates the too tho. Even tho Ingram is skinny he has no fear attacking the rim

I think it is going to take some time for him to fill out, but am really liking him so far, i had him rated well below Simmons, but am starting to think he is not that much of a drop off.  Lakers should be happy to get a really good player in such a weak draft.

I think he is going to be as a player in the middle level between Rashard Lawis and KD…

Quincy Miller killed his own basketball career by entering the draft after his freshman season. That Baylor team was his if he stayed and he definitely could’ve been a lottery pick.

That’s not good ——– & I think he’s going to have a tough time attacking the Rim until he fills out a little more

He doesn’t attack the rim w/ explosion in college & that FG% shows that

He muscles his way thru a lot of the time

But that is against college kids ———- I like Ingram long term ——— but his first few years will be a growth process——-      He is not going to walk into the NBA & be a 20 ppg scorer

I think Brandon Ingram is an average NBA athlete at best.  The guy isn’t going to come in and wow anybody with his quickness and explosion.  If you watch him play in college, he didn’t really blow by anybody on the perimeter.  He loved to spin in the lane after beating his man off the dribble and I believe he’ll realize he can’t do that in the NBA after he has his shots swatted into the third row a couple of times.  Brandon was not explosive around the rim in college.  He will really struggle attacking the rim in the NBA in my opinion.  What Brandon does do well is handle it for his size and shoot the ball.  He has an elite skill set when it comes to shooting.  As he gets stronger his athleticism will max out and he will be better at attacking the rim.  Athletically, Brandon will struggle at the next level.  He just isn’t that explosive.  I do believe he will come in and shoot a high percentage and I expect his FG percentage will be somewhere around 50 percent while shooting around a 40 percent clip from distance.
