Can someone give me an update on the draft stock of my fellow Virginians Bradford Burgess and Mike Scott?

good post, I’m a VCU alum and would love to know if Burgess will get drafted.  I would guess someone could pick him up late second round, but if not, he should definitely get an invite to play summer league.

My fellow Cavalier, Mike Scott, isn’t seeing any changes in his draft stock as he didn’t attend the Portsmouth Invitational Tournament. He still looks like a mid to late second round pick. On the other hand, Bradford Burgess did go to the PIT and I read that he was getting some rave reviews from scouts. He did his stock a favor, but he still has a bit to go to be considered a 2nd round pick.

I think there is a place for Burgess in the league, that said I don’t think he’ll be drafted… He just didn’t have a good enough of a year this year compared to the Will Barton/Kevin Murphy/Alex Young/Kim English ‘s which all had great years, play the same position, have similar skills and similar size… He does have a winning reputation though.. Burgess will get a long hard look by teams after the draft… Not sure about Mike Scott..

I bet Mike Scott gets drafted, he’s undersized but the guy was arguably the ACC’s best player… he’s experienced, tough, hits big shots, i bet he’ll be that shock pick that we see each year where a guy sneaks into the late 1st round whom you expected to barely be picked

Mike was NOT ACC best player.  He is nowhere near as good as Henson, Zeller, McAdoo, Leslie, etc.
