Boston has home court, but no one expected them to be here after all these injuries. The Cavs were up and down all year, but Cleveland and especially Lebron (playing his all-time best IMO) have been no fire. Boston’s youngsters have really stepped up. Tatum Brown and Rozier are ballin out.

Simple question, Does Boston have a real chance to win the series? Or is it the same old thing different year.

    Opinions??

Top 6 – 8 NBA teams – both Exciting young rosters right on the cusp of competing for Titles

But Phila was really a perfect match up for Boston w/o Kyrie b/c the Sixers don;t have any guards who can guard the opposing Point Guard

As a result Rozier was able to run Wild – TJ McConnel did a nice job but he’s just not athletic enough & Boston’s entire offense is predicated on penetration from the PG position

Against Cleveland Kyrie Irving’s abscence is Really gonna HURT

I wanna see a 7 game series but I just don’t see it – C’s had a GREAT year & deserve a Ton of credit getting by the Sixers but I think it ends here in 5 games

I think Boston can win. They can throw a lot of different guys at LeBron – and they need to. Love and Korver have been supporting well but I really like Horford and the C’s wings chances of restricting these guys. Scary to think they can add Kyrie, Hayward and potentially a lottery pick to the current squad.

As soon as Kyrie was traded to the Celtics before the season a Cavs vs Celts conference matchup was inevitable. Too bad Kyrie is injured. Would have really made this matchup that much more interesting.

I have the Cavs in 6 games for the record.

Tatum, Brown and Rozier have been great under Brad Stevens and the Future is bright. But w/o Kyrie and Hayward and knowing LeBron is on a Mission. I just can’t see the Celtics advancing just off of Youth, good coaching and AL Horford.

The Celtics are playing with house money this post season which makes them that much more dangerous when fully healthy and with another year under their belt.

Boston has a shot. They have nothing to lose at this point.

I really like Bostons chances, it is definitely not going to be another Toronto.

I agree with the poster above in saying that I like Al Horfords match vs Love. I’m not sure what the advanced stats say but watching Cleveland games I throw my phone in rage everytime I see Love make a good move in the paint to totally brick or miss the finsih. This will not get any easier vs Horford.

I just cannot see who is the match up for Lebron? I know Stevens will really preach a team effort but at the end of the day someone will be tasked with facing up against Lebron 1v1. Morris might get it.  Boston just look way to young on the wing V Lebron.

I can’t see this young Boston team stopping a grownass 250 pound Lebron James feight train playing in carrer best form.

Locking down Love, and the Cavs role players is what they will look for, but I have a feeling Lebron will abuse the young Boston core with 40+ through the series.

It will definitely be interesting to see what plans Brad Stevens comes up with to slow Lebron. Lebron is just so devastatingly effective it’s had to imagine anyone really slowing him down, but Boston has some good defenders to throw at him.

I have to say after round 1 with Cleveland and Boston needing 7 games to advance, I didn’t imagine we’d see both teams in the Conference Finals.

I think Boston has a chance as Brad Stevens will shuffle his pack a lot but it still may depend on how well LBJ plays. The Celtics can put Horford on K-Love and someone on Korver so it cuts out shooting options for LBJ.

I think it will go to 6 or likely 7 games, the bookies say Cavs but I think Boston may just sneak it.

Play way better defense. Something tells me if they stay on shooters Lebron will not out score the Celtics. Just think Love will be forced to guard Tatum,Brown,Horford. Lebron will have to really guard Tatum,Brown,Horford at times. Not sure who gets Rozier. Maybe Celtics in 6 but James is likely to get 22 free throws a night and Celtics must endure that. Celtics should kill the Cavs. Dont see any reason why they shouldn’t. Screw house money they should run this team out of the gym. Shut down Love and Korver and let the stat king get his stats. Try not to foul him too much. Meet Semi Ojeyle……

People still doubt Lebron lol, we’ve had this argument the last couple of years and the C’s still fall to the king.

Super teams is his own doubt. Basketball is a team sport.

Celtics have no chance of winning 4 games. You guys gotta realise this is Lebron James.

Cleveland is worse than they were last year

Boston is better than they were last year

This is going 7. I got the Cavs in 7 on the back of a series where Bron averages 38, 7, 13 but Boston will make this close

Celtics Cavs in a game 7 at Boston would be epic. But even though I am a Celtic fan, I do ave a hard time thinking Boiston can win 4.

But like the other poster said, this is HOUSE money!!!

It will be sure interesting if there are two epic Conference Finals what the NBA Final might be like. I somehow think both Celtics and Team LBJ might prefer to face Houston than GSW. Houston and GSW might think they would have a more attritional battle vs Celtics than Cavs but with Cavs you have to factor in LBJ.
