For the sake of basketball conversation let’s pretend every other NBA team has no qualms about signing Bosh. Also, let’s say he is guaranteed to play 75 games. All very unrealistic but whatever…

Where do you think Bosh should go? Cleveland, New York and Golden State are put because of cap space. I personally think it would be pretty awesome to see him back in Toronto…thoughts?

Toronto would actually be a nice fit for him if he can get back out there consistently. Really hope he gets healthy

Toronto, Detroit, Minnesota could all use him at the 4

If we’re talking hypothetically, then what team wouldn’t want/need a healthy Bosh? A guarenteed 75 games from an All-Star caliber player is something most teams can only dream of.

Sure he’s getting up there in age now, but if he could play a healthy 75 games I have no doubts he’d be a 1st or 2nd option on just about any team.

I think people forget just how dominate he was in Toronto as a 1st option, they only remember him as a 3rd option for the Heat where he was asked to often play out of position and change up his play style to be mostly a jump shooter off the LeBron & Wade feeds.

agree here. A healthy Bosh would be a core member of the elite on any team to me. Read somewhere he averaged 24 ppg per 36 mins with Wade on the bench and no reason why he couldn’t average something like that on a lot of teams.

The whole situation seems to be a little more complex then what the media and we know about. I think the Heat really don’t want to risk anything about some of their players in first place but there seems to be more to this with the front office. Riley just stated Bosh played his last game for the heat and I don’t’ think he meant he is traded but his career is over instead. Don’t really know what they want to do know other then just paying his guaranteed salary for this year if he doesn’t play. If he is healthy, why trade him in first place without getting something really big in return?

A salary cap relief for Miami is only given if he doesn’t play at all this season if I’m not mistaken and if he decides to retire and at some point is cleared and willed to play again, which is not unlikely, the Heat are responsible for his full contract I believe I read. If he doesn’t play, I can’t see any team trading for him. The required cap space or equally matching salaries in a trade is also hard to find in any possible trades imo and other than the 76ers which team has enough cap space available to absorb him? The Lakers could have but went for Mozgov instead…

It’s just a matter of image right now.

Heat’s medical staff message is clear enough that any team taking him will probably risk to become the team who cares more about results than health. The issue is important enough that even the league’s image is at stake. You don’t want the NBA to face a scandal on the matter like the NFL. Adam Silver probably won’t let him play again, just because "the NBA is a league that cares about players health first". No team will take him because they probably already got the memo.

Bosh has titles, 11 all star appearances and is guaranteed nearly $80 million gross by Miami or their insurers over the next 3 years so I’d ask the question why risk playing again first of all.

If Chris was medically cleared by an independent specialist which is what I believe the NBA would demand as a minimum then loads of teams would chase him. His salary is being paid so he might well decide he’s going to go to the best winning situation and chase success or a new challenge as he has titles.

Toronto – would be a natural move – 2nd seed out East last year, Bosh if he is sound makes them better.

Chicago – Link up again with D-Wade, 3 title winners along with Rondo to assist Butler

T-Wolves – Gap at PF, he brings leadership, experience and winning to a young team

Boston – Good young team, add Bosh get better

Spurs – Win now as always, he may have to come off bench though

GSW – Likely strong favourites this season, he could play C would be an upgrade over Zara

Knicks – Could combine with Noah and Porz, might get starting nod over Noah plus chance to play with Melo

Cavs – Link up with LBJ again and current Champions, like at GSW he’d need to take minimum

Portland – Young team, he may like the challenge, brings them experience

Long shot – The Bucks – might like the chance to play with Freak and Jabari, can give young team leadership.
