OhCanada-ParticipantI expect Blake to have one of the best games in his career, and some nasty dunks (if playes are willing to contest). I wouldnt be surprised if Davis gets crowned in this one. I was gonna buy tickets to the game just for that reason, they are cheap too.

I May Be WrongParticipantbadly, after that loss to the Cavs. I agree, Blake will put on a show and come out strong. 35-15-8 assists and a huge poster on Bargnani lol

Stanford hoops1I think Bargnani has a very big game as well. Blake is a bad defender and Jordan can’t guard him on the outside. These are the perfect teams to play against for both players as far as padding stats

OhCanada-ParticipantGriffin will probally do a good job on Bargnani, you have to remember when Bargnani isnt posting up he plays like a wing. He scores most of his points when unathletic bigmen gaurd him. Bargnani hasnt been going in the post at all lately so he could struggle here.

Stanford hoops1Why would Blake do a good job when he is a known very bad defender and Bargnani is a known very good offensive player?

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantHe would probably post similar numbers to what Aldridge did to Toronto last game.

OhCanada-ParticipantBlake is a weak post defender, hes not buil for bigger, stronger, more agressive PF’s and C’s. Bargnani uses his agillity to beat defenders, Blake is more agile, stronger, more agressove. I just dont see Bargnani having a good night, I maybe wrong thou its just a prediction. Although I will state that I watch alot of Raptors games, and when teams wanna shut down Bargnani they use a smaller player, when Bargnani excels they use someone like Jordan to gaurd him and they get abused.

Stanford hoops1Blake gets burned on the inside and out side. He’s a bad all around defender right now. Not sure how many bigger and strong PF he has matched up against. Which guys are you referring to?

Stanford hoops1Jefferson is a much better defender then Blake though and sometimes weird looking match ups work from time to time ( Rondo was checking Lebron today for long parts of the game and didn’t do that bad)

OhCanada-ParticipantBlake is strong but hes not post strong…Small athletic players have a tendancy to complicate Bargnani despite defensive presence. I dont know how to explain this much better then I did before, but I guess all I can say is if Bargnanis shot is off he will struggle. He wont be driving on Blake because he knows Blake is quicker, and he knows Blake is a fiesty guy and Andrea might get a hard foul. He will be taking jumpers and when he relies on his jumper and doesnt get to the foul line he struggles.

Maysek22Participantyeah but blake eats fakes like oliver miller eats burgers, so bargs should have a lot of uncontested jumpers and lanes to the paint for some easy scores. i see bargs putting up his normal stat line 20-25pts 4-6 rebs and nothing else at all…

IndianaBasketballParticipantJordan is a long and athletic big man who is raw.
He’s shown progress this season at the defensive end and rebound the ball, but hasn’t played that well on this road trip. He’s gotten into early foul trouble a lot. He still has a long way to go.
It sure would be nice if Kaman and Smith returned.

IndianaBasketballParticipantGriffin’s defense reminds me of Derrick Rose’s defense. It’s like they just fundamentally don’t really know how to play defense.

Snubs15ParticipantYeh is see that in him too. He has all the tools to be a great defender since hes strong, hes pretty quick for a big, and hes a freak athletically. Yet he still doesnt get the job done on defense. I dont get it. Same thing with Rose. Hes super quick laterally, hes bigger and stronger than most pgs and he still doesnt lock any one down.
