birdman1113Participantwill oden aldridge and roy be a dominating big three for years to come?

nikeduck24ParticipantI think Roy can get better x2, Aldridge is the next Rasheed without the attitude, and I think if Oden can average 15 pts, and 10rebs, that is a dynasty if I have ever seen one.

j1232eParticipantI think we still have to wait and see if he can play on a regular basis maybe a couple of season of 78 games played at a 15 and 10. ROY solid ALDRIDGE getting better. still might not be a top 10 pf in the league.

mikeyvthedonParticipantTo answer the question, I am seeing that vision. When your big 3 includes top talent at the 2-4-5 positions, which I believe this trio does, than I see great things happening. If they manage to maintain their depth as well, than watch out league. To me, no matter how disappointed critics were with Oden, the team went 54-28, and I truly believed Oden’s addition made them a stronger deeper team. They had 3 rookies who played huge roles, and one that had his role reduced due to a whiny Spanish malcontent (not you, Rudy). They have great attitudes, fantastic chemistry and they play good team basketball. Charles Barkley said they do not have a guy they rely on at the end of the game (and than Brandon hit the 30 foot 3 pointer), but we know who it is, and it will be much easier as soon as we trade Outlaw and get our roster tight so we have that killer end of game squad. We have so much talent, and signing everyone will be hell, and their is of course always the threat of injury (not just with Oden, Roy could go down at any time too), but you have to love having a talent surplus as we do right now. Even with Martell instead keeping the pick and taking Paul or Williams, their would be no chance we would be as stacked as we are right now, since they would have taken us out of solid lotto position the next couple drafts and Bassy’s value would have been shot to hell like it is now. So, in conclusion, we are contenders as of 2010-11. Love the team currently, go Blazers!
