Big EPRIZZLE's 1st thought out MOCK
Can someone who has Thabeet explain to me why he should be second overall pick to Memphis besides "OH He's the best defensive stopper since dikembe Mutumbo?" Please. I'm almost gone off the wall on these mocks seeing him second and not Rubio or Hill. Marc Gasol is a 24 year old center. A center not a power forward. It's not bad aside from that, but just seeing Thabeet going second on so many mocks just gets to me.
overall no problem
Hill is not going to OKC...they would go Rubio ( to trade) or Harden.
Cunningham wont go 1st round....
Fix your 2nd round as well...( you have the Bucks taking 2 PG's)
Check my mock out
I did that because no team wants the embarrassment of a player not playing for you (Rubio-Memphis) and Thabeet is a great prospect who can back up with Gasol and they can use all 12 fouls and keep fresh bigs. OKC passes on him cuz RW is the pg of the future.
" I did that because no team wants the embarrassment of a player not playing for you (Rubio-Memphis) "
what does this mean? are you buying into that fake rumor? try reading some new material...like how wallace hollins and gasol went and had talks with rubio. sighhhhhhhh
Overall, I think you did a good job. However I agree with everyone else thinking Thabeet is overhyped. Also, with Gasol their in memphis, I don't see those 2 playing much together because they are both traditional centers. Putting them together would kill Memphis's hopes for building a transition offense. I think they take Rubio who will replace Conley who does not look like a starting pg, and Thabeet will fall to 3 or more likely 4 where I have him going to the Kings.
Also, I know I"m higher on Holiday then a lot of people, but every site I've gone to except this one has said he is lock to go lottery. Personally, I think he goes #7 to GState. The Warriors would benefit from having a larger pg who can play defense alongside Ellis.
Perez it's not that Thabeets overhyped at all. He's a very intriguing prospect in the right system. That system just isn't Memphis. We have Marc Gasol who is an above average center in this league and the two of them playing together is a mess waiting to happen. Where me and D disagree on is where they should go. I think they will end up with Hill but they will draft Rubio and trade him to Sacramento.
according to their sources, i think it was Bill Ingram who said it, Memphis does not want Rubio. but it's kinda weird coz if they didn't want him, they won't get a couple of their front office guys and marc gasol to talk to rubio and convince him to play for memphis. well, i don't know. what do you guys think?

just look at the comments
I think he ends up in Memphis. He has style and flair which might help put some people in the stands. Iavoronni is supposed to install a running offense so Rubio would fit better then just about any other player in this draft. Also he would get to play with his buddy Marc. I heard one of his big problems with going to Memphis was because he heard some horror stories from Pau and that other spanish pg who was there last year, I forget his name. But I think he ends up in Memphis, and if he flat out refuses to play there, then the Grizz will still suck which is nothing new to them, lol.
