dbaumParticipantIt is really a shame when one of the premier college basketball conferences will never be in existence again. The history, tradition and historic moments the Big East has had over the past 30 years has developed some of the best talent. There was a great amount of competition and games going down to the wire. From the tournament in Madison Square Garden, to the rivalries between UConn-Syracuse, Syracuse-Georgetown and many others, it is truly sad that it will never be the same in college basketball. It created an identity for East Coast basketball and became a league where there was tough, physical play. It will truly be missed.

IknoBall12ParticipantWhen i used to debate which conference was the toughest with my buddies. I’m a duke fan but I never had a problem admitting the big easy was basketball royalty. U never had a night off in that conference and it seemed as tho any team could be ranked at any time
