Jordan Farmar, Baron Davis, Paul Pierce, Trevor Ariza, Jason Kapono, Gilbert Arenas, Tyson CHandler, Tayshaun Prince, Jrue Holiday, Brook Lopez, Robin Lopez, Josh Childress, Darren Collison, Arron Afflalo, Russell Westbrook, Luke Walton, Deshawn Stevenson, Brandon Jennings, Ryan ANdersen, Matt Barnes, James Harden, Nick Young, Jason Kidd

Im sure there are more im forgetting about

    Livingston
    Maggette
    Sh. Brown
    Q-Rich

all right, i was curious so i looked it up. Here are the guys i forgot:

Jason Collins, Jarron COllins, Chase Budinger, Demar Derozan, Jared Dudley, Austin Daye, Drew Gooden, Aaron Gray, Chuck Hayes, Ryan Hollins, Eddie House, Richard Jefferson, Amir Johnson, Mark Madsen, Andre Miller, Jeff Pendergraph, Leon Powe, Brian Scalibrine, Dorrell Wright

that makes 43 current players that are from california. I played against a handful of guys in highschool that made it to the nba. Also, the local Junior college i went to produced guys like rafer alston and cedric ceballos. Just a lot of ball players in cali espectially the los angeles area

I say the DMV. The DMV has produced so many good HS, College, and NBA players. Let me give you a list of the players I know off the top of my head that came out of the DMV:

    Michael Beasley
    Kevin Durant
    Nolan Smith
    Donte Green
    Greives Vasquez
    Chris Wright
    Austin Freeman
    Sam Young
    Jarrett Jack

And their are some more players that deserve to be on that list but I just can’t remember them. There are also a lot of good players that are currently in HS that are really good.

But …what about The Great’s…Like Wilt and Kobe….Their from the Philly Area…Cali has a lot of role players and a lot of them were in schools Like UCLA, USC, Stanford and Arizona…AKA the NBA schools…Make a Starting Five of Players from Cali and they’ll be destroyed by the Starters from Philly…

Who’s better than Wilt and Kobe from Cali…Now after all That… I have to say I’m no Cali hater…In fact my first Love was from The LA Riverside(Aka The Bad Lands) section and I have a California Angel’s emblem over my heart…They were also her initials but I’m still repping Cali every time I take off me shirt…

i dont think whole states should count in this. cali, texas, and florida produce alot of talent because they are the most populated states. it should be cities ans their near suburbs. places like philadelphia, wash dc, seattle, nyc, houston, la, chicago, detroit etc.

Not to mention playground legend…Earl “The Goat” Mannigault…ask Kenny Smith (annother NY PG), he snatches a 20 off the back board and left change all in one setting!

Now He was great but …The Goat….I think not….Why wasn’t he in the NBA??? I can name 50 guys like him….All hype no Action….Plenty of guys can make stupid claims…Think about it….If a 6’0 foot Earl the Goat can snatch a 20 off the top of the Glass and leave change….Why hasn’t the 6’11 leaping Lizard Dwight Howard done it in the slam dunk contest???….Think about and try to answer that for me…It’s because it can’t be done…A little thing called Gravity ruined the myth a long time ago….Wilt’s 100 point game though…That’s a Fact/…You guys have failed to give me one C that could guard Wilt….Not 1 of your players can guard Kobe or Reke….Philly wins….Now get over yourselves NY….your players are always over hyped pieces of shyt…some one make a list for NY pieces of shyt…It’ll be longer than the list of great players you just named…

For the love of God shut yo dumb ass up! First off if you did any research on the guy I’m talking about, you would know that as a kid he played with ankle weights on, thus increasing his jumping ability tenfold. Like Hook Mitchell he squandered his talents by getting into it with the law and making all the wrond decisions but he became a community leader by sterring youth away from his path.

First off Kareem Abdul-Jabar is from NY so take that for your F’N Center! For a guy who’s gullable enough to use video game ratings to judge real players, you talk way too much, and you don’t know what your talking about!

I’m a coach and I heard all the stories about Earl Monroe….

They are exactly that STORIES….Leg weights are your answer to the Laws of Gravity….Man why don’t we send a man to space with the Hops he got from wearing Leg Weights….

Answer the Question Then….If Earl the Goat SmokeSomeDope could grab a 20 off the backboard and leave change…Why didn’t VC or D12 do it in the Dunk Contest???….Oh wait they’re not the athletes the Dope Using GOAT was….

Be 4 real…Why haven’t anyone of the freak athletes of the NBA done it to win a slam dunk crown???

    Answer…It’s impossible you clown….

And I can see your a NY homer and you got upset about my Gallo and Chandler statements….

For the last time….Pick up a copy of the latest game(2k10 or Live) and tell me what professional game designers and their NBA employed scouts think about your Boys Gallo and Wilson…

They think they suck and the rest of the Fans of the NBA think the same thing…

Answer my questions first and then Tell me I have no Idea about Ball….

First off just judging from your statements, your not a coach your just some douchbag with a dirty fitted and a bum ass Phillies jersey.

    1. Dwight Howard dunked on a 13 ft hoop…I’m pretty sure he could do that, if he thought of it dick mouth.
    2. If video game desginers think they suck so much, then why in the 2k10 roster update, is Gallo a 72 from a 59…once again stop using a VIDEO GAME where anyone who’s good enough can use Earl Boykins to break Wilt’s record to judge actual talent.
    3. Its Earl Mannigault not Earl MONROE….do you even know who your talking about??!!

Instead of getting in some flame war with some douch who bought NBA 2K10, won using a 3-2 zone and thinks he’s a coach because of it, imma talk real basketball with real people with real brains…in your spare time go dry clean that fitted cap, its starting to smell

David West grew up in Teaneck, but he went to high school in North Carolina. I saw a special about David West and Teaneck during the playoffs a couple of years back. He was talking about how it was one of the last towns in the United States to desegregate (happened during the late 60’s).
