I’ve always loved Biedrins for some reason, and no one ever talks about him.  He’s a little streaky, but he can grab 15 boards on any given night with a few blocks.

Are his numbers really inflated because he’s always been with the Warriors? Or could he be as successful on another team?

I would really love the Thunder to make a run at him, although I don’t know if he’s considered untouchable.  I think Aldrich will only turn out to be a serviceable big, while Biedrins could be that solid center the Thunder are missing.

Green / Harden, Aldrich / Krstic, and picks for Biedrins?

We dont run up and down like we used to and even when you adjust stats for pace hes stil one of the best in the NBA. Plus he has Lee next to him so its not like hes the only rebounder there. hes not untouchable , but right now we cant afford to trade him since we dont know if Udoh could take his spot yet. But Harden and Cole for him doesnt sound too bad IF Udoh can step in and start

Thats giving up Green and Harden who are gonna be really good players, plus two bigs might be to much for him i think.

I meant either Green or Harden, plus either Krstic or Aldrich.

    Sorry for the confusion.

I was gonna say Green and Harden for him is insane but even worse is it looked like you meant Green and Harden or Aldrich and Krstic which is an even crazier question because …. well just read it again that’s banana juice son!

Anyways i have liked Biedrins his whole career.  If Iggy wasn’t on the board in that draft The Sixers were going to take Biedrins, JR. Smith, Josh Smith in that order.

Right now I really feel like the best scenario for both teams is to trade Biedrins for Iggy. While the Warriors don’t need to trade Biedrins and certainly aren’t looking to trade him I think a chance to add Iggy to their organization is too good a deal to pass up.  Biedrins numbers are not inflated but unlike Kevin Love, Noah or even Lee last year, they aren’t aren’t mind boggling and irreplaceble.  He is a very opportunistic scorer who will always shoot an extremely high percent from the field.  But it’s more like he will always dunk a high percent because he doesn’t really have any go to moves in the post and isn’t much of a threat on offense at all.  What is he averaging this year like 6 or 7 points a game?  I don’t think the Warriors will have trouble replacing that productions.  And while he is a great rebounder he is also inconsistent because he tends to get in foul trouble still.  He reminds me of Dalembert in almost every way except he’s not the shot block Sammy is.

Basically Biedrins numbers this year are like 7 and 9 and one block a game.  Those numbers aren’t hard to replace however his post defense is but thats why they drafted Udoh.

Iggy on the other hand would have a huge impact on the Warriors franchise.  Sure Dorrel Wright is playing out of his mind, but out of his mind is only good for 14 points a game in 38 minutes tho.  And yes Wright is shooting lights out from 3, but his overall FG % is only like 42.  My point is Iggy is a huge upgrade.  Iggy not only gives the Warriors a lock down perimeter defender who they can throw on the Kobe’s, Roy’s, and Durant’s, but he also provides rebouding, playmaking, a winning mentality, and veteran leadership.  Adding a player like Iggy to this roster puts the Warriors in the playoffs IMO.

What do you think Iggy’s numbers look like in the Warriors system?  IMO he would average 17, 7 and 7 playing in Golden State.
