gatorheelsParticipantWell of course Blake Griffin should get a lot of opportunities to score. Also Curry will be a sharp shooter immediately. Tyreke Evans should be able to penetrate at will and get to the free throw line. Jordan Hill will get a lot of playing time and should score a ton of baskets on fast breaks because he can run the floor great for a big man.
Wayne Ellington is in the best situation right now because he is pretty much the only SG that Minnesota has haha. He should get plenty of playing time even as a rookie. Flynn will probably start for the Wolves too but I don’t see him scoring much.
I thought James Johnson had the offensive skills to be able to easily score on the nba level. I’m just not sure how much playing time he will get though.

SmooveKRYPTParticipantYeah but where’s he gonna play…Monta and Jack will definately play 35+ MPG, then there’s still Azubuike & Maggette…there’s not gonna be enough minutes for Curry to put up huge scoring #s!!!
James Harden is definately in the best situation to score, he’s surrounded by 3 other guys who score 15+ ppg(Durant 25+), and that team likes to run, so he’ll have plenty of opportunities to score!!!
Other than him it has 2 be Derozan, considering Anthony Parker is pretty much gone, & Marion might be also, so he’s gonna see a lot of action!!!

Michael.S.Participantis a good scorer but with Monta playing point will he be his backup? and i dont see Curry being the starting 2 guard, and OKC and the RAPS are expecting big things from Derozan and Harden

Rubio is a beastParticipantwhen you say score, do you mean score, or suceed. If its score, it has to be Griffin. He is going to get the most minutes, and the clippers will give him tons of shots. If its succeed, Im going to say Rubio if he comes over
I know, you think im crazy
If you’ve seen a Rubio highlight, you know he likes to use the PF and the C. Jefferson and Love are good at that, and the Timberwolves drafted Hank Norel, who was Rubios teammate, so he will be in a similiar situation. He will be givin lots of shots, and hes bound to score. He wont have good shooting %, but the T-wolves arent in a hurry, and they need to improve Rubio’s shooting.
The Timberwolves are about 3 years away from contending.0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/01/2009 - 6:05pm #174316
bluedevils12Participanti think griffin becuz he is on a team where he wont be asked to score a ton of points becuz the clippers are already lined up with scorers(thornton, gordon, baron, kaman). all blake has 2 do is rebound and play defense to the best of his ability. and run the floor

MattissickParticipantCurry and Harden. DeRozan is not nearly mature enough to score right away and he has no jump shot.
