heres a list of best remaining free agents(alphabetical) who can still be impact players and any current info/rumors:

michael beasley-put up 13 and 6 last year while shooting solid 51%fg and 40%3pt. Reports are that knicks have no interest in bringing him back although there are reports he is deciding between 2 unnamed teams at moment.

clint capela-14 and 11 last year. Restricted so rockets almost certainly match any offer. Problem for capela is the market is dried up so rockets could sit back and low ball him and say go find a better offer if you can.

wayne ellington-11ppg while shooting the three ball well. No idea what rumors are circling him

rodney hood-15ppg, cavs have right to match offers and have said they would like him back. Hood could be in line for big minutes with lebron and jeff green both leaving. Doubt anyone gives him an offer the cavs wouldnt match.

brook lopez-13 and 4 last year while playing an inconsistent role at 23mpg last season. Reports are lakers want him back and with lack of shooting and no current starting center, he makes sense to come back.

jabari parker-13ppg and 5rpg. But missed 50 games last year and 30 the season before that. Highly skilled and bucks have option to match offers. Rumors that kings might throw a deal at him since they lost out on lavine.

marcus smart-10ppg…4rpg…5apg and elite defense across multiple positions. But shot 36%fg which is also his career average with few signs that hes getting better as a shooter.Rumors are that hell settle for qualifying offer to return to boston and try free agency again next year.

isaiah thomas-15 and 5 last year but was hobbled and still an injury concern as well as defensive liability. Just over a year removed from averaging 29 and 6, thomas’s body has stumbled at worst possible time financially speaking. No idea where he ends up, there were rumors about the magic but that fell through.

if this was ESPN this would be an insider article and charge $4.99 monthly to read.

Is ITs days of being a star over already? Short guards can have long careers but they usually have short “star power” windows. Would he be better off searching for a 6th man of the year role on a contender instead?

I always wondered what would happen if Lebron played with a true low post scorer. Both Bosh and Love gave up a lot of their post up game when playing with him. If Brook is going to stand around and jack up more threes this year then I don’t like the fit. He’s not a good enough shooter. He finally worked his way up to being passable out there but it’s not a strength. If they let him stay on the block the Lakers would do well to resign him. If the market has dried up on Capela then it def has for Brook too.

Smart I feel is the type of player you can add to any team and it just makes sense. Kinda like Tony Allen, Rick Fox, Matt Barnes-like in that way.

I hope Capela stays in HOU so I can see them take another shot at the Warriors.

Honest question; is Jabari better suited as a SF or PF. I thought he was the prototypical SF. Carmelo-like midrange post up and shooting. But he’s gotten hurt a lot and the nba went small, so…

Brook Lopez  to Milwaukee. This could be a nice pickup for them. Also Thomas has not signed with the magic.

Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times is reporting that the Bucks have rescinded their qualifying offer to Jabari Parker.

This would make Parker an unrestricted free agent. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.com reported on Friday that Parker and the Chicago Bulls are progressing on a deal. It’s expected to be worth $40 million over two years. We should have clarity on the situation by the end of the weekend.
