rsckease60weParticipantBRANDON JENNINGS OR FLYNN
0 - Posted on: Sun, 06/07/2009 - 6:13pm #158304
spartyonParticipanti really like rubio, he’s gonna be a perenial allstar
flynn shows flashes of greatness and makes clutch plays
lawson could be a stronger smarter tj ford… dangerous
and jennings = scrub

dwat4444ParticipantI think that a lot of the people that say Jennings is a “scrub” have not seen him play and would rather say that a guy they’ve seen will do better. Jennings will be a star. There’s a reason he’s projected higher than flynn and lawson by the Proffessionals(scouts who are paid to do this) except for Chad ford. By the way… screw Chad ford

auberParticipantI’m really surprised you didn’t say John Bryant Btown. Since you praise him like the second coming of Christ. Ricky Rubio or Jennings. Jeff Teague is also a very strong possibility.

unofficialscoutParticipantGood question but tough since this a really good PG class. I think Jennings is very fast and athletic and has the ability to be another Rondo but I dont think he has the heart/drive of Rubio and the creativity/polish of Flynn. I think the best PG 5 years down the road will be Rubio or Flynn. I can see Rubio averaging 16-18 ppg & 8-10 apg. Flynn = 18-20 ppg & 7-8 apg.

mikeyvthedonParticipantMy current point guard rankings, which could change upon where the player is drafted. I will go by who draft.net considers a PG in their rankings.
1. Brandon Jennings
2. Ricky Rubio
3. Stephen Curry
4. Jonny Flynn
5. Jrue Holliday
6. Patty Mills
7. Eric Maynor
8. Ty Lawson
9. Jeff Teague
10. Rodrigue Beaubois
11. Darren Collison
12. Toney Douglas
13. Nick Calathes
14. Lester Hudson
15. Curtis Jerrells0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/08/2009 - 1:31am #158421
UNC4eva8806ParticipantDo people rank guys like Stephen Curry and Jrue Holiday ahead of Ty Lawson. I mean S. Curry played point for one season and didn’t have the best desicsion making regardless of how bad his team was. And for the record Jrue has never played point!!!! Ty Lawson is a true point with the highest assist to turnover ratio in college with lighting quickness and a developing shot. I haven’t seen much of BJ and Ricky, but they were playing pro ball so
1. Ricky Rubio
2. BJ
3. Ty Lawson
4. Johnny Flynn
5. Eric Maynor
6. Jeff Teague
7. Darren Collison0 - Posted on: Mon, 06/08/2009 - 4:07am #158437
HueBoND 2001ParticipantI think Flynn is getting a little to much hype right now….Will bynum is a little more athletic than flynn was and he is riding pine, and did a 4 year stint in europe. I like flynn, but dont see a system that would mesh will for him
Jennings is electric he will be the most exciting pg of the draft, but rubio looks like he will have a bigger contribution in an empty sac town who had beno udrih as a starter.

bbrzParticipantI can’t believe nobody has jerel mcneal in their mock drafts!!! he put up the same numbers as d wade last year at marquette and he’s the same size!!! o yea and by the way wade played in conference usa and mcneal dominated in the BIG EAST!!!! if given a chance with the right team mcneal will be a stud.

Lemons4LifeParticipantAs bbrz mentioned McNeal I think will be a late rounder and come out amazing in a few years like Gilbert Arenas.

butidonthavemoneyRicky Rubio is too rare of a talent to overlook if your team needs a point guard.
