SubZeroParticipantDaneboy’s post about the best guard trio made me wonder, which college (and NBA if you’d like) has the best frontcourt?

JoeWolf1I’m watching KU destroy Miami of Ohio right now and Marcus Morris has 18 and 5 Markeiff 21 and 10 and they bring Thomas Robinson and 7 footer Jeff Withey off the bench. They are a very good high/low passing team this year and great on the boards. I’d say they’re in the mix for sure as far as college goes.

FritzParticipantWell im going to stay out of this topic because Im KU biased but how did Selby look? He had an impressive stat line I missed the game but he looks like the real deal, too bad hes looking might impressive as a SG instead of a Pg so far this year.

DanEboyParticipantI’ll take the Morris twins over at Kansas along with Thomas Robinson.

SubZeroParticipantI love KU’s frontcourt. Duke may have one of the more athletic ones with the Plumlees, but I’d definitely take KU’s…but if Josh Harrellson keeps puttin up 24 and 17 (I wish, that dude got super lucky) I think I’d take Kentucky’s lol

JoeWolf1@Fritz, He looked good today, he was driving, running the break and shooting from outside. He really needs work feeding the post, but with this team he’ll get plenty of practice. At first he looked like a shooting guard, but when you see his court vision and how he runs the break you can see that he has the capabilites to run the point at the next level.
He’s a very strong player for an 18 year old, he strips post players on defense when they bring the ball down and physically is very gifted ( he had a great dunk tonight). I’ve seen all of his games this year and I’d say this one was his best as far as showcasing is overall talent. Tyshawn Taylor is clearly the guy who’s going to play the majority of the point, but Selby is more of a point guard than I first thought. (I’ve watched all 4 of his games, and have tickets to the UMKC at the Feildhouse on Wed!)
