Andrew1984ParticipantJeff Hornacek, 6-3, 190 pounds. NBA career average: 14.5 ppg, 49 percent FG, 40 percent from 3, 5 apg. His best year: 20 ppg, 51 percent FG, 44 percent from 3, 5 boards and 5 assists.
Ben Hansbrough, 6-3, 205 pounds. This year: 18.7 ppg, 50 percent FG, 45 percent from 3, 4 assists.
This guy is an NBA player, period. Competitive, deceptively athletic, off-the-charts basketball IQ. He may not get drafted, he may be a second-round pick, it may take him a couple years of fighting for a roster spot, but his kid is legitimate professional.

Moon RiverParticipantThat is no easy accomplishment. He is the type of guy the Bulls would like to pick up late in the first round with one of their two picks.

Meditated StatesParticipantWe all know the kid is playing against NBA players in the off season almost everyday. Based on how he has improved every season he is giving as much as he is getting to those NBA players too. He can run an offense coming off the bench as a back up point IMO. He could be a sleeper because he really is not being spoken about, but we all know this kid is going up against NBA talent on a regular basis. He will get a shot regardless by being Tylers brother.

Andrew1984ParticipantHis haircut kind of makes him look like a lawyer from the 1980s. Hilarious on so many levels.

SwatLakeCityParticipantI believe cyclo was a poster on here a couple months back that was pretty irate and stupid. well at least you aren’t him. (or so we think)
Anyway if he is the next Jeff Hornacek maybe he could be drafted by the Jazz in the second round and then he could learn a thing or two from the real Jeff Hornacek. No just kidding but hey it could happen.

SubZeroParticipantOne of my favorite players (all my friends hate him cuz he left Miss. State lol). The Bulls would be a good fit for him. They need a 1/2 guard that can knock down 3s consistently

Andrew1984ParticipantOh, yeah I’m a little stupid, but I’m not cyclo. Well, people always think I’m stupid at first, then my predictions tend to come true.
– Had Butler over Duke in my bracket last year, was one of less than 50 out of ESPN’s millions of brackets to correctly predict national championship game
– Predicted before the NBA season started that Blake Griffin will average 20 and 12 and eventually 25 and 15.
– Predicted before this NBA season started that Chicago would make the NBA Finals (we shall see!)
– Predicted that Gordon Hayward is the next Scottie Pippen. Still not backing down from this one. Give it time!
– Predicted Steph Curry’s NBA career when he was a FRESHMAN at Davidson after watching him abuse Maryland in the first round of the 2007 NCAAs.
– I’ll stop patting myself on the back now. I also thought Washington would make the playoffs this year, with Wall, Hinrich, Josh Howard, and a healthy Arenas. Wow, was I wrong on that one!

The8thDeadlySinParticipantI wish I could blow my own horn like that… Unfortunatly, I dont have an "I-told-you-so" complex where I have to remind people when I was right…
I am kind of jealous…

Andrew1984ParticipantWhat other incentive is there in making predictions other than pretentious, egotistical snobbery when correct?!

Kinguy11ParticipantI think Ben MAY have a better NBA career then his brother Tyler. I know that is saying a lot but to me he seems to have more Basketball IQ and overall be more NBA ready right now compared to when his brother entered the draft.

sheltwon3ParticipantI actually agree that Ben will probably have a better career than his brother but I think he will be 3 point specialist and may be along the likes of JJ Redick but a better passer.

JNixonParticipantThis is definitely cyclo.
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/11/2011 - 11:07am #508929
BKKnicksfanParticipantWhy do I not believe that you predicted all that?
0 - Posted on: Fri, 03/11/2011 - 11:32am #508937
Andrew1984ParticipantI could probably find my official bracket in ESPN’s bracket manager thing to prove it, if you really wanted evidence. I could probably also find e-mails sent between pals and I about sports while I was supposed to be working, with dates to corroborate all predictions, but you’d probably still question their validity even then.
I am not cyclo, and I think that’s a really dumb name anyway.
But again, to balance it out, I’ve had numerous failed predictions too. I thought Marcus Williams from UConn would make much of a splash in the Association. Same with Ryan Wittman from Cornell. The list goes on. I thought Patrick Patterson would have a starting job in Houston by the All-Star break. I also finished pretty much dead last in the bracket challenges for about 10 years straight up until the homerun I hit last year.

Andrew1984ParticipantAnd by the way, as I stated, I actually had Butler winning the National Championship (and I enter the exact same bracket into every challenge, never different brackets) over Duke, so technically I was wrong on the national title game.

kobyzParticipanti said before, Ben Hansbrough = Acie Law, i think Ben could be a good backup PG in the NBA!
