STEAL OF THE 2008 DRAFT , SUMMER LEAUGE MVP, PROJECTED 4TH BEST PLAYER IN A STRONG 2008 DRAFT CLASS. JUST TO RIDE THE BENCH???? WHY WHOULD PORTLAND DRAFT HIM IF THEY DIDNT WANT TO USE HIM IN THE SUMMER LEAUGE GE DID BETTER THEN EVERYBODY MAYO BEASLEY GORDON, RANDOPLH, DERRICK ROSE THE NUMBER 1 PICK BASSICLLY EVERY SINGLE PLAYER AVEAGERD CLOSE TO 30 POINTS A GAME GET TO THE FREE THROW LINE AT WILL BUT THE BLAZERS GIVE HIM LIMITED PLAYING TIME WHY?
BECAUS EHE CANT RUN POINT WELL GIVE HIM A CHANCE BILLUPS WASNT A TYPE PLAY MAKER COMING OUT NOR WAS GILBERT AND IF U SAW GILBERT FIRST GAME BACK THIS SEASON U CAN SEE HES A SPECAIL TYPE OF PLAYER GIVE BAYLESS A CHANCE THEY WASITED A YEAR WITH HIM N COULD HAVE REALLY USED HIM IN THE PLAY OFFS BUT CHOOSE NOT TO EVERY TEAM HES BEEN ON HES BEEN ASKED TO SCORE SINCE COLLGE
NOW THEY WANT HIM TO UN POINT WELL LET HIM U HAVE A MONTA ELLIS/GILBERT ARENAS TYPE PLAYER THAT GET TO THE LINE BETTER THEN ETHER OF THEM BUT WONT PLAY HIM WHY OHHHHH AND THE MOST FUNNY THING IS U COULD PLAY BAYLESS AS A SCOREING GAURD N LET ROY PUSH THE BALL WHILE AT THE 2 BLAZERS HAVE TO MUCH TALENT I THINK THEY NEED TO TRADE RUDY FERNADEZ OR BAYLESS WHATS THE POINT OF HAVING TWO STARTERS ON THE BENCH WHEN U CAN UPRGADE AT THE POINT GAURD POSTION THE CENTER POSTION OR THE SMALL FOWARD POSTION I DONT WANT TO SEE BAYLESS ON THE BLAZERS ANYMORE IF HE CAN HELP THEM PLAY HIM IF YALL DONT USE HIM TRADE HIM
DONT HOLD HIM FOR YEARS THEN TADE HIM COME ON

Bayless is a driver, not a distributor. The blazers do not need that type of player with Roy and LA. They need a player than can hit the mid/outside shot consistently. Don’t get me wrong, he is a very good player, and will have a very good career, but I just don’t see him playing in Portland…

im tellin u he can hit the 3 he can score in anyway i watched the summer league and 70 percent of the blazers games this year yea i saw him shooting sum airball 3s once or twice his season but he can knock down the shot
he just need freedom look at harris who knew he had and offese game look at nash mavs wouldnt have trade him away if they knew he was gone be a back to back mvp and a clutch shooter with a litte freedom ucla held russel westbrook back but now he has aot of freedom from being drafted high i thouht of him as another rondo but westbrooke may be more explosive and faster and may have a better shoot then rondo

    and the blazers need somthing

they got knocked off by and aging 8th seed that barley made the playoffs

i think Mcmillan thinks of him as their future point guard but wants to bring his playing time up slowly.

aging 8th seed? Yao (6th year), Brooks (2nd year), Schola (1 year), Lowery (2nd year). If you call that old, you are crazy. And are you comparing Nash and Harris to Bayless? Please, he is not an outside shooter. No offense, but your arguement doesn’t really have any relevance.

Also, if you watched 70% of the blazers game you would have noticed that the Rockets are the worst match-up for the Blazers. Even the Lakers are better match-up than the Rockets. Brooks is way to quick for Blake, Yao is way to dominant for Pryzbilla, let alone Oden, and Shane Battier is a very good defender against Roy.

when i wrote that for some reason i thought mav were 8th seed i forgot the blazers palyed the rockets so take the aging 8th seed thing away

im not comparing there skill sets im comparing how when their situatioins change their stats changed when harris went to the nets lawernce frank set the driible n drive in dallas he aint get that much freedom to controll the offense in dallas nether did nash dirk was the top scorer and the mvp when nash went to phonix dantoni gave him all the freedom he could in that run an dun offense where they use the first 7 seconds on the shot clock to score and nash became the mvp of the league all im saying is give bayless more freedom or there going to get knocked out again and scola is old juss because hes a rookie doesnt meen hes young lol and when i say hes old hes like 27 28 or 29 atleast and it aslo seem your a blazers fan upset because you team lost and i see many more loses to come many nba teams a take bayless and play him big minutes and more games then then the blazers he would be a big energy guy of any nba bench look at jr smith and what hes scoring off the bench did to the lakers and now tell me who wouldnt give bayless the freedom jr smith got when he can duplicate the same thing everyday oden looks more injury prone i see the balzers having more so expect you team to see many more first round exits if they dont shake things up

wooooooow u juss said bayless didnt have any offense im done look at wade n monta ellis players that can hit the 3 but prefer to use their mid range game the shot their best at shooting bayless would be stupid to jack up all 3s and not use his skill to get to the line at will and shot easy free throws the only reason i watched blazers game is for bayless anyhow

hes a rookie behind a MUCH more experienced Steve Blake. Blake does exactly what the blazers need, hit the open 3, and distribute. NOT drive and score. He only played one year at a mediocre AZ team. Bayless won’t be around for much longer in PDX.

Agreed. He has a VERY big upside, and would be a great player in any trade. Young, Athletic, explosive, great finisher.

but right now it doesn’t look like Bayless is going anywhere UNLESS we get an offer we can’t refuse. Pritchard LOVES bayless. enough said, so i can’t see him going anywhere this offseason. The only point guards in my mind that KP would rather have are CP3, Deron Williams, Derrick Rose, and maybe Russell Westbrook. I think Bayless is ready to step into the 2nd string role right now and play about 15-20 minutes a game. Plus, playing on the white unit, you have rudy there to handle the ball if mcmillan doesn’t think bayless is up for it.

so what, if it was your team stevedot, you would have started bayless in the playoffs or somethin? bayless obviously needs some time to grow and mature, coming out after his freshman year. why throw him in the fire and possibly watch him not handle it well when you could wait until he is completely ready

if we bout to get knocked out the playoffs and i kno Roy can handel the ball as a pg jus from the sg postion and score

and baylesss can really light it up and get ppl infoul trouble at the pg postion

    YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

    why not lol

the ball would be in roys hands and bayless a be a scoring pg

and roy would run the team n set up plays

not to mention when we need to be stable i have sergio and blake to come off the bench
and bayless doesnt have to start he could have game them a jr smith type of role off the bench

and i think bayless will find his way an dif not he still will be a great player

two other players were stuck in his postion and now there 2 of the best point sin the league

    billups and gilbert{former arizona player also}

now brandon jennings{ would hve been arizona product} will have to find his way also to be a great pg
because hes far from ready to really contrubite going against rose,cp3,bayless,baron,felton,hinrich,miller billups, nelson, duhon etc

but getting back on topic if west brooke could start whycant bayless if he would have started maybe it would help him learn the point faster…………..ever thought of that

    how many dnps he had

he rarley came off the bench

some nityes team shut down roy and th blazers had nobody to score……………only if bayless had playing time the blazers coud off had a win…………..and why in th eworld iddnt the blazer sign petri kopeon by far the best point gaurd in 08 summer league he really can orchstra a team even if it didnt show in assit…..but the sign patty mills instead of petri??
