llperezwas just remembering my youth and how i played a bunch of basketball games. I went back and checked some vids on youtube of these old games and it makes me laugh now how bad they were.
my first basketbll game i bought was called pat riley basketball for the sega. Game was impossible to dribble or pass around traffic cause it would get stolen so easily. They had a goofy set up for dunks where it went into close up mode and you had to press the button while a little ball moved to make the shot. The dang ball was so big it looks like its bigger then the rim and i wonder how any shots went down at all.
i played a whole bunch more. “lakers vs bulls”, “Jordan vs Bird”, “nba superstars”, “david robinsons supreme court”, “nba action 1994”, and of course the classic “nba jam”. So what were some of your games and memories? Post some vids.

M-DYMESParticipantSomething about the game "Street Hoops" made that my personal favorite. IDK why the hell I loved it so much, but it was by far my favorite basketball game.

surveParticipantI played a lot of early bball games, one of my favorite being Double Dribble…but the one I got the most fun out of was Slam N Jam for the 3DO. I played it for years and probably would play it now, its that much fun.

surveParticipantThis game was classic and in this video you can see Jordan’s reverse layup, I used to do that move all the time, it was no way to stop it IIRC. One of the early games that Jordan was playable on.

aamir543ParticipantThis was my first video game. I loved it, and considering that it was 11 years ago, the graphics are not that bad. The other day I was able to put my uncle’s old XBox together, and play nba 2k7, the graphics were absolutly horrendus.
Foward to 0:40. I remember the Dr.J highlight in the intro.0 - Posted on: Mon, 07/11/2011 - 9:15am #568539
