IndianaBasketballParticipantNot only that… Right as news broke that LAC was shopping him, he brings up a supposed knee injury that he’s had since GSW (never brought it up until now)… His trade value was already on life support… This just pulls the cord.

fastdanParticipantHow far do you think he is from getting Marbury treatment?
Also, if LAC had a chance do you guys think they would draft Irving if Kanter and/or Jones was still on the board.

I May Be WrongParticipantOn paper, he was the biggest question mark to me and rightfully so, because we never know what Baron is going to show up on a night. IMO, i dunno if he’s a starting PG now BUT i can see him give some quality bench minutes to any team that could use a back up. I just can imagine a team that would be desperate to take on his huge contract at this point

Kinguy11ParticipantUntradeables: Eddie Curry, Elton Brand, Joe Johnson (Because of his monster contract), Baron Davis (kinda, he could be traded to a losing team), Gilbert Arenas (huge contract, gun iccident).

mj23mj23besteverParticipanthis poor attitude and that absurd contract make him next too impossible to trade imo the clips should take whatever they could find in a trade but this is sterling land im talking about and he could give a f less if the team is winning as long as they are making him money

doubledribblerParticipantAs long as the Dallas Mavericks exist there will be a place for overpaid and past their prime players…
As far as Eddy Curry goes, the Knicks have made him untradeable. I know everyone says he is out of shape, but he could have gotten playing time on all these horrible teams he has been on. He can’t do much, but the one thing he can do (score in the post) is a rare commodity. Not playing for a few years basically makes him useless to teams. No one knows if he can play or not and not playing is only going to make him swell up even bigger. At least before he could burn off some calories. Even though Marbury wasn’t the same guy he used to be, I think the Knicks killed his confidence and of course his value. Guys confidence was so low he went straight to China and didn’t even seem interested in trying to come back to the NBA.This was one of the first guys talking about going to Europe and he didn’t even try to go there. So the question to be asked is, whose value will D’Antoni kill next?

The8thDeadlySinParticipantIDK why but I think that Baron would be excelent in Dallas as JKidd’s replacement if Kidd were to retire.. Since thats not happening, he could be a good player for Toronto… I mean he is better than Jack and Calderon…

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantHow many players have burned NBA teams once they get that big contract…The owners would rather shut off the lights and close shop before handing over 15 million dollars every year to a fat, lazy and useless worth of air(Eddie Curry I’m talking about you…)
It’s funny how the Knicks biggest trade chip and Hopes for another max guy come in the Form of Curry’s expiring contract…when In reality he’s the main reason the NBA owners have their sites set on a long and bloody Lock out…
There will be no Eddie Curry’s or Baron davis’s if the Owner have any say and they do…they own the Teams, stadiums and rights to all NBA mercandise…and they’re the ones paying the bills and taxes…Teams can’t afford to have guaranteed contracts in this economy…
