providencefriars1ParticipantKentucky should win this one but it may be close since Bama is a tough defensive team. Mitchell picking up two fouls really hurts the tide. Anyone else watching this game

PrecociousNeophyteParticipantYea, I am. That 7-footer on Alabama Moussa Gueye looks like he is 40 years old, there is no way he is a college student.

providencefriars1ParticipantDavis and Jones are losing the battle inside to Green, Jacobs, and Mitchell which is pretty dissapointing. Bama’s young guards look good too. Every game it seems more and more that MKG is Kentucky’s best player.

finneganParticipantpraising MKG while putting down jones game today? both players put almost the same numbers on today’s game.
MKG = 4-7 fg, 13 pts, 6 reb (1 offensive), 1 ast, 2 stl, 1 blk
Jones = 4-7 fg, 15 pts, 6 reb (3 offensive), 1 ast, 1 stl, 2 blk
this isn’t a good night for anthony davis but his numbers still solid… 11 pts, 9 reb (6 offensive), 4 stl, 4 blk
the way i read some post on this thread, i thought MKG had a monster numbers (like 30 pts and 15 reb) over jones and davis. I really don’t get this MKG love fest

JoeWolf1I think Jones gets less impressive everytime I watch him play. He’s got some bulk on his side, but he’s not very athletic. I really think he’ll struggle at the next level. I wouldn’t take him in the lotto.

WizardofOzParticipantDidn’t watch the 1st half, but Davis’ statline looked ugly. 1/11 at half, 1/3 FTs, 6 Rebs 1 Blk.

JoeWolf1I’ve always been a Trevor Releford fan since he was in HS, you guys think he’ll make in the league?

PrecociousNeophyteParticipantHey you know that "Kidd-Gilchrist"? Yea he’s pretty good.

JoeWolf1MKG is the man, he’s one of the guys in this draft i’m highest on. This is a good year to be sitting in the 5-9 range IMO. Beal, Robinson, Sullinger, MKG are all most likely going to be on the board. I think all 4 are going to be very good NBA players.

mcbaileyParticipantMan, I’ve never seen so many bad, possibly accidental shots go in before. It’s like these guys can’t grip the basketball, and they’re still scoring points. Impressed with Releford, though; that scoop shot he made over two Kentucky defenders was pretty crafty.

providencefriars1ParticipantJoe Wolf… true about Jones he sucked today. Releford is one of the most underrated players in the country and is a true PG who makes great decisions unlike Teague.

Memphis MadnessParticipantAfter Anthony Davis and Andre Drummond I have MKG as being the 3rd pick and I think he might have a bigger impact on the next level than the other guys.

FastAndFuriousParticipantTeague is getting to the rim, but can’t seem to finish the easy layup.

providencefriars1ParticipantFinnegan what game were you watching? MKG played excellent defense and when you are on a team with 6 or 7 potential NBA players you will rarely score 30. Jones was bullied inside by Bama all game long.
In your box score comparison you left out that MKG played 9 less minutes and had identical numbers to Jones and that Davis shot 2-10 from the field and was eaten alive by reserve big Nick Jacobs in the first half.
